Responsibilities include the Installation/Integration/Test of a new BSCe3/TCUe3 and BTS, trouble-shooting the NSS/BSS connection, provisioning of the SBA, HLR-PS on the SDM in preparation for fist call verification. Created a shell script for the HLR-PS that was used to add all of the provided test SIMS; trained the customer on the use of this script as a temporary stop gap until their final solution was ready. Responsibilities include the management of the Integration/Test team with respect to hours worked, the number of team members required during various phases of the Integration/Test process. Responsibilities include: Design level Bread-boarding/troubleshooting of new PCB designs; such as Alarm Interface circuits, Unit Control processors DS0-DS3/VT-1/OC-1 Circuit Pack troubleshooting. Troubleshooting of complete Trunking systems all the way down to tracing a single bit thru a 1344 port DS1 cross-connect. Support of all transmission products during the development and production phases as well as the training/support of systems test personnel during the delivery phase. Responsible for traveling to customer sites to deal with all situations where a full-blown engineer was not required, usually requiring the addition of engineering changes to live systems.

• Responsible for maintenance and upgrade of IBM PC compatibles used on DSC DEX ECS3 systems.

• Performed switching matrix modification of several DSC DEX ECS3 systems at customer premises to facilitate the generation of an Alarm Indication Signal on redundant ports.

• Acted as lead member of team responsible for verification/diagnosis of DSC DEX ECS3 systems belonging to a major customer before they were cutover.

• Diagnosed cause of several intermittent system data errors in the factory that were responsible for holding up factory shipments on numerous occasions.
