Responsibilities included: low voltage systems design, re-engineering, project implementation, and monitoring of multi-contractor IBEW/CWA telecommunications/IT/LAN/WAN/MAN projects. Instrumental in the design of connectivity for Ethernet PDA-cradle daily task order systems installed within over two hundred fifty (250) Consumer Energy trucks.

Work focused on design and building voice, data, and security infrastructure systems for seventy-five (75) plus Michigan CE sites, resulting in service for seven-thousand (7,000) employee users. Work included network design, preparing RFP’s, vendor selection, and project management for each ITS project running simultaneously throughout the state. Held high level security clearance allowing admittance into Consumers Energy two (2) nuclear power plants “protected area.” Successfully directed-managed the telecommunications migration during the teardown and decommissioning of the second nuclear plant facility in America; Petoskey Michigan’s Big Rock nuclear plant resulting in over one point three million (1.3 mil) in savings to Consumers Energy.

Successfully completed over three-hundred (300) Consumer Energy projects on-time and under budget.
