Mr. Hall has over twelve years experience in process and utility (steam, chilled water, HVAC) distribution system design for industrial, educational and institutional clients, in the ethanol, bio-diesel, pharmaceutical, utility and food industries. In that time he has directed CAD/PDS teams and been involved in database design and management for data mining, master planning, and project management purposes.
Mr. Hall has worked with project engineers to complete process and mechanical designs for construction, developing PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts and sizing, pipe sizing, piping orthographics & isometrics, duct routing plans, vessel drawings, facility layouts, and utility distribution diagrams, required to install HVAC, chilled water, coal and natural gas fired steam heating & co-gen plants, feed pellet cooling systems, condensate systems, pharmaceutical systems and related facility infrastructure upgrades.
Mr. Hall has been responsible for drafting for all disciplines. He has accurately drafted Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Civil, and General layouts coordinating all disciplines during all project phases.

• Process Plus (contract) (Cincinnati, OH). Senior Piping Designer on food oil blend tanks. Responsible for AutoPlant piping model of five oil processing tanks, associated equipment and piping. Responsible for deliverables including: AutoCAD layouts, Line Isometrics and AutoPlant Model coordinated with other disciplines.
JACOBS ENGINEERING – Feb. 2007 to Jan. 2009
• ConAgra, Red Meat Ovens (Russellville, AR). Piping Area Lead/Senior Designer on new food production line. Responsible for team of three piping designers, Scheduling and Progress Reporting. Responsible for deliverables including: AutoCAD layouts, Line List, Valve List, Scope of Work, and responsible for coordination with other disciplines as well as the design build contractor.
• Eli Lilly, B-23 upgrade (Puerto Rico). PDS designer. Responsible for piping layout and isometric extraction from PDS of several facility utilities and pharmaceutical systems. Used point clouds from laser scans of existing facility to complete PDS model of facility upgrades. Database Lead. Developed database structure and user interface. Managed project database. Controlled updates and issues of valves, specialty item and line lists using data extracted from P&ID’s and PDS models manipulated in Access and exported to Excel for client distribution.
• Genentech, ECP-1 (Singapore). PDS designer. Responsible for piping layout and isometric extraction from PDS of several facility utilities and pharmaceutical systems. Database Lead. • Cargill, Inc. (OH), Pellet Cooler Replacement. Piping Designer. Designed mechanical and structural models for new pellet cooler installation. Responsible for design of Conveying system, Equipment placement, Structural layouts and dust collection.
• Cargill, Inc. (OH), Caustic Line Replacement. Piping Designer. Designed mechanical models for caustic line replacement. Responsible for design of pipe route and field verification.
• Cargill, Inc. (OH), Platform Upgrade to West Enclosure. Designer/Drafter. Designed Structural models for West Enclosure Platform Upgrade. Responsible for 3D model and 2D layouts of the Structural design and field verification.
• Cargill, Inc. (OH), Corn Cleaner Replacement. Piping Designer/Drafter. Designed Mechanical and Structural models for Corn Cleaner Replacement. Responsible for design of conveying systems, spouting, Structural and Equipment layouts.
• Cargill, Inc. (TN), Conveyor Relocation Study. Pipe Designer/Drafter. Responsible for field verification and assessment of existing conveying systems. Developed preliminary design of optimized conveying systems, spouting, structural and Equipment layouts.
• Tate and Lyle, Inc. (OH), Heat Recovery Systems. Pipe Designer/Drafter. Designed hot air piping to future heat exchanger for heat recovery. Responsible for Mechanical and Structural models and field verification.
• Dominion Energy, Inc., Ethanol and Biodiesel Plant P&IDs. Draftsman. Responsible for development and quality assurance of P&ID drawings, Equipment, and Civil layouts for future plant.

• University of Missouri, Chilled Water Plant. Lead Designer/Drafter. Lead multi-discipline team in designing a 15,000 ton chilled water plant. Designed Mechanical systems for the plant and produced cost estimates per design. Responsible for creation of and coordination between Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Structural, Civil and Architectural 3D models and 2D layouts of all disciplines required for construction.

Designed Mechanical systems for the plant and produced cost estimates per design. • Duke University, Cost Analyst. Database Designer. Developed database used for accurate and detailed cost estimates from existing and future 3D CadWorx models.
• The Ohio State University, Utility Master Plan. Columbus, Ohio. Database Designer/Drafter. Contributed to development of database used to model existing and future energy usage for campus utility master plan. Created and updated all drawings used for Master Planning.
• GE Aircraft Engines, Combustion Component Test Cell Group, Evendale, Ohio. Piping Designer/Drafter. Modeled Cell A2 exhaust duct system redesign for CFD analysis.
• GE Aircraft Engines, Combustion Component Test Cell Group, Evendale, Ohio. Piping Designer/Drafter. Modeled a 1250F and 600 psig automated hot air bypass line for Cell A2. Responsible for P&IDs, orthographics and isometrics required for construction.
• Corps of Engineers, Fort Wainwright Power Plant Renovation, Fairbanks, Alaska. Piping Designer/Drafter. Contributed to design of boiler refurbishment. Project included use of laser scanning to accurately audit existing utilities for installation of new boilers, new water treatment processes, and new coal handling processes.
