PROJECT MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE, Member

Dear Sirs or Madam:

If you are seeking an individual who stays abreast of his field, understands technology, earns 100% staff support, and who is as career-committed as it takes to achieve total success, then please consider what I have to offer. I would be happy to have a preliminary discussion with you and/or members of your team to see if we can establish a mutual interest.

I am accustomed to a fast-paced environment where deadlines are a priority and handling multiple jobs simultaneously is the norm. I enjoy a challenge and work hard to attain my goals. Constant negotiations with all levels of employees have strengthened my interpersonal skills.

My responsibilities as a Project Manager have been to perform daily management of overall project support involving one or more projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations (three groups of people in three different states). I have organized, directed, and coordinated the planning and production of all of my projects. I created, planned and implemented technological and project management improvements, managed diverse groups of functional and administrative personnel and orchestrated the collaborative effort of getting all of the people from three states to work off the same page. I was responsible for deliverable quality and integrity of the work performed and was accountable for the successful performance of the project. My dealing with groups in multiple locations necessitated planning, directing and coordination of the overall project to make sure that all tasks were completed on schedule and within budget. I was also the focal point of activity as the primary point of contact with the Government Program Manager (PM), Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR).

I am organized and detail-oriented, work well under pressure and with critical deadlines, enjoy working with a variety of people and have a great attitude.

I am looking for a creative, challenging, growth-oriented position and would like the opportunity to learn more about your company.

Thank you for your attention, I look forward to a further exploration of this opportunity.

Sincerely,

Robert K. Orsino
