1 Developed scripts using JavaScript that simulate user actions on a web site.

2 These scripts are used with other products Gomez offers to collect web metrics.

3 A big part of this job is performing data analysis on the metrics we collect.

Description:

Created scripts for Gomez Inc. These scripts mimic user actions

such as clicking on a radio button to submit forms, dynamically inserting page elements that the script recorder misses. Many of these scripts were custom. In addition, often customers required random user actions or the ability to randomize user accounts. I had to manually code AJAX post calls and capture dynamic values using regular expressions.

I was frequently called upon to rewrite scripts that the script recorder failed to record properly. Header modification was also required to enable these scripts to work properly.

I also had to perform some data analysis on some of the metrics that were confusing to customers ie.(response times, server errors and http errors). I attended regular training

sessions on new web technologies and other emerging technologies. The call tracking software we used was an online program from Salesforce.com.
