Industrial experience includes facilities construction and maintenance, semi-conductor facility base build, cleanroom and tool hook-up. Experience includes commercial buildings, schools, correctional and municipal projects and residential electrical design and drafting. I also have Cad drafting, design support experience in utility substations and transmission and distribution.

October 2002 to present Electrical Designer – TOR Engineering - Phoenix, AZ

Commercial and Industrial Projects Dept. Electrical design and Cad support for commercial and industrial facilities. Design of power, lighting, life safety and communications systems for new buildings and renovation work. Most projects involve writing proposals for services, gathering data and communicating with architects, engineers and construction personnel. Projects: preparatory academy and commercial building storm damage in Flagstaff, AZ., YMCA facility in Avondale, AZ.

Also support of APS, SRP substation, transmission and distribution projects. Control house architectural and electrical design. Provided drawings of conduit layouts and conduit details for transmission and distribution substations. Support in structural drafting on foundations, footings, masonry walls, grading and drainage plans, as well as some steel and structural 3D Cad.

11/98 – 8/02 Electrical Designer/Cad Technician – Durrant - Phoenix, AZ

Electrical design and Cad support for commercial projects, mainly public school and correctional facilities. Projects involved power, lighting, life safety and communications systems for new buildings and tenant improvements. Projects: Phoenix elementary school district; Eloy BoP/INS tenant improvements. Pinal Co. jail and courthouse; Building renovation/restoration for City of Glendale. Projects coordinated with Durrant’s architects. Construction administration and submittals.

Produced control designs used for construction of control panels, service entrances, MCCs,

and other systems. I prepared construction and electrical drawing packages for a wastewater treatment plant, and developed drawing standards used with the Cad program.

Worked with electrical, civil and process engineers in producing drawings used in and operation of municipal water treatment plants. P&IDs, logic diagrams, schematics,

building power and lighting.

Responsible for power, lighting, and some HVAC, and piping drawings used in TI projects in the plant facility. Working with contractors and vendors, I prepared electrical drawings used in the construction of the new manufacturing facility (Talavi) in Glendale, AZ.
