The scope of the project includes creating Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Proof of Technology (PoT), building integrations with other CIBC applications, creating UI rules, decision rules, flows, activities, security, using frameworks like PCF, TMF and NBBL to showcase the capabilities of PRPC and the feasibility of developing such a solution in PRPC.

Description Web based Point-of-Sale System (WebPOS) will support insurance transaction processing & on the spot document issuance for multiple lines of business & products, mainly in the retail segment. The system will provide the opportunity to channel partners of TATA-AIG to enroll as e-Business Partners committed to a specific business model, which defines volume & value of different products to be sold over an agreed timeframe. Through WebPOS, the partners will be enabled to efficiently and effectively service the requirements of their customers from quote to policy issuance, and policy lifecycle management. They can also provide TATA-AIG underwriters with leads, which will be processed through S3.

Description Integrated Insurance Portal uses Product Configuration Framework which is a horizontal solution that enables you to define products (saleable commodities like insurance coverage and services, or material objects like furniture) in terms of standard and optional packages, components, subcomponents, and features. It provides the capability to rapidly develop, maintain, and uniquely deploy product (or service) specifications in a controlled and consistent manner.

The main objective of designing the Integrated Insurance Portal is to capture the required data from the external system into PRPC, which creates Quote and calculates the premium at Section, Product, Risk and Coverage component level for Auto Insurance and sends the resultant data to the external system.

Role • Building the Product Plans related to Private Motor Car Insurance

• Implementing Business Logic by creating activities for premium calculation and decision tables for obtaining rating factors

Project 4 WebPOS – BCC Rules enhancement and Production issues

Description BCC stands for Busines Control Configuration. This is a user interface through which UnderWriter can add ,update,delete Rules. Only Underwriter can able to see this BCC link in left side of window in WEBPOS. For Old Architecture we are using BCC. In NPI Architecture we are using Pega. If any policy is meeting erroneous state then it will be referred to under writer where he will decide whether to proceed or to reject the policy

Project 9 WebPOS –Premium Calculation in PRPC(BRE)

Description WebPOS will generate the RatingReqestXML which acts as an Input for PRPC. The PRPC after processing the xml provides the premium and the values in the form of RatingResponceXML. PRPC uses different XMLs defined by us for the internal purpose. Depending on the RatingReqestXML the PRPC decides which rating services to be selected for calculating the premium. RatingReqestXML is generating at coverage level ie: For each Coverage RatingReqestXML is generating. WebPOS is using PRPC for premium calculation. Calculation is happening in the coverage level. For each coverage system generates an input XML to PRPC and get the response XML.

Description This is a web based application developed in Java Jakarta Struts. A good Patients database is the heart of the Application. A new patient has to be added before his Appointment is scheduled. Without defining a patient his encounter cannot be created. The application runs on Tomcat Web server with MS-SQL as the Back-End. This module was created for the registration of the patients where the patient can register themselves with the doctor by providing the information regarding themselves such as Name , Address SSN NO etc.and Its only after this registration encounter with the doctor begins
