Planning and effecting preventive/ predictive/ breakdown maintenance schedules of various machineries and equipments in the plant to increase machine up time/ reliability.

Familiar with IEC 16511 International Instrumentation standard.

Experience in Process measurement/control instrumentation, Working on PLC (SIEMENS S-224/ S-224CN),

Good Exposure of PLCs like(Siemens, Procedia), SCADA (Wincc Flexible 2008).

Exposure of RTU /HMI OP-7(Siemens).

Exposure of P&I diagrams/Panel Drawings, various type of control schemes, interlocks between the process & functional logic loops.

Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.

Exposure of PID Controllers(Honeywell,UT350,Nippon,West), T/C, RTD, Level / Proximity / Limit / Pressure / Flow Switch, Pressure Gauge, E/P Converter, Humidity sensor, DPT, Flow meters, Ultrasonic Level Sensor, .

Installation, Calibration & testing of control valves, Pressure/Flow transmitters.

Exposure of operation & configuration of AC DRIVES (ABB, Delta etc.)

Identifying areas of obstruction/ breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipments through application of troubleshooting tools.

Coordinating material/ spare parts planning related activities encompassing identification of vendors, requirement specification & offer evaluation through ERP.

Installation & Commissioning

Individually Commissioned the Automation of four Dryers controlling Temperature, Humidity, Fresh air and exhaust air damper operation with respect to the moisture content of insulator batch.

Significant Contributions:

Reduced breakdown due to motor burning on dryers (ambient temp 58oC) from 40HP per month to NIL and delivering same performance continuously from last 3 months.

Arrested heat leakages which were resulting in extended cycle hours of drying process, water fallen rejection, and undesired loss of humidity and injected heated air.

Installed turbine ventilators to eject extra hot air draft from ambience to reduce working temperature of motors and for human comfort. This amendment resulted in zero breakdown which were caused by heated winding of motors plus Rs 4,71,500/- per year of saving of electricity (Energy Conservation) via introducing natural light through translucent sheet on which turbine ventilators are installed achieving 550 lumen of illumination level.

Modified Circuitry of Dryer MCC Panels to provide interlocking of cone drive and air circulating fan of dryer chamber. This provided 13% reduced rejection rate of insulators.

Modified circuit of Door lifting device of Dryers to prevent shutdown and breakdown of device and for energy conservation purpose.

Implemented CAPA against infrared thermo-graphy of all working motors to reduce breakdown of 0.5HP/ 1HP/ 3HP/ 5HP/ 7.5HP and 10HP motor on dryer top.

Achieved zero breakdown condition of cyclo-gear motors by adapting new 1HP, less RPM and higher shaft OD motors on the place of 0.5HP motor.

Split the operation of Fresh Air and Exhaust Air damper to improve the quality and strength of dried insulator.

Manage efficiently a team of 10 Members.

Nov ’08 to May’09 BHANSALI ENGINEERING POLYMERS LIMITED, CHHINDWARA. [MP]

Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) - Instrumentation.

Exposure of P&I diagrams/Panel Drawings, various type of control schemes, interlocks between the process & functional logic loops.

Exposure of gas Flow meter/ Mass flow meter/ vortex flow meter/ PD flow meter, Solenoid Valves, Temperature sensor, O2 analyzer etc.

Handling Electric Actuators, Control Valves, Positioners, Rotameter, Annuciator Panel, Relay- Contractors systems.

Handling day to day Instrumentation maintenance and breakdown activities.

Installation, Calibration & testing of control valves, Pressure/Flow transmitters.

Non Contact type & Contact type Level Controlling System.

PROJECTS

1. Dryer automation project at MIL, Abu road:

Environment: Industrial

Team Size: 10

Duration: 07/07/2010 to 1/12/2010.

Description: Automation of dryer process is done to make the process more accurate via controlling temperature and humidity. Automatic control of dampers helps in reducing cycle hours of batch process and also helps in reducing “water fallen” rejection. Graphical representation of the process plots every minute detail of all parameters being used in the recipe which helps in analyzing the technical as well as production faults. PLC used is Siemens S-224CN and Siemens S-224. Planning to introduce on-line moisture meter to keep log of moisture of insulator while batch process is running.

2. Project on Audio Spotlight:

Environment: Final Year Major Project

Team Size: 4

Duration: Nine Months (10/10/2007 to 17/07/2008)

Description: Prepared Major project on the topic “Audio Spotlight”. It is a technology that creates focused beams of sound, similar to the light beams coming out of a flashlight. Using pure ultrasound signals as a carrier wave, and superimposing low wavelength audible speech and music signals on it, a hybrid wave can be created. This, due to gradual distortion in air, converts back in focused audible beam of sound. Only person within the path of audio beam can hear the track. Article on Project “Audio spotlight” was published on October 16th 2008 in Dainik Bhaskar, Kota region.

3. Project on Code Division Multiple Access- Radio Frequency:

Environment: Vocational Training

Team Size: Individual

Duration: 40 days (29/06/2007 to 11/08/2007)

Description: Carried out at Reliance Communications, Bangalore. Part of curriculum summer training program after B.E 3rd year. Reliance communication, Bangalore is a leading communication firm in Karnataka region. The allotted field is CDMA-RF (Radio Frequency). Studied about how the calls are managed and how to give proper network coverage in urban areas.

4. Project on Reliability improvement of testing line conveyor :

Environment: Vocational Training

Team Size: Individual

Duration: One Month (26/06/2006 to 25/07/2006)

Description: At Samtel Color Ltd. (SCL), Kota. Part of curriculum summer training program after B.E. 2nd year. SCL, Kota is a market leader in production of Color Picture tube. The allotted section of plant was Maintenance department (Back End)Target was to increase the reliability and availability of the plant and to reduce the number of breakdown, increase the efficiency of working gantries and robots and to get familiar with the industrial environment.
