JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Stage wise ‘Hull structural’ inspections & weld inspection as following…

Prefabrication Stage: Incoming plate inspection, Plate identification & material traceability, Laminar checking, Nesting plan, Marking, WEP, Fit-up, weld visual.

Assembly Stage: Alignment of bulkheads, frames, girders and stiffeners by water level, plumb, spirit level etc. To check missing elements, deformation, buckling & weld defects.

Eraction Stage: Block butt fit-up, Block to block alignment, welding according to welding schedule, scantling & dry survey according to drawing.

General Survey:

-To ensure that the fabricated structure comply with the specified requirements of pertinent drawings, quality standards and customer specifications at various stages of fabrication.

-Carried out inspection like APT, Hydro test, Structural test, Hose testing, Vacuum test etc.
