For this centralized high volume mortgage company I have managed a retail operations team consisting of over 30 people. Fannie Mae DU and Freddie Mac Loan Prospector were systems used in this position. I trained personnel in underwriting and closing for the new MOS (mortgage operations specialist) positions where one person is responsible for a loan file from processing through post closing. Networking and maintaining relationships with the sales staff were important along with the coaching and mentoring of staff members. I worked in specialized loans and community works lending which included working with grants and subsidies funded by many various organizations throughout New York State and other national banks. I took part in training courses and initiating new procedures with HSBC for CRA loans and grant subsidies.
