Reporting to Project Engineer and Department Manager. Comprehensive, diversified and valuable leader. Owner of the design, optimization and production of Super Conducting accelerator magnet components.

• A key member of the engineering team, major accomplishment of providing mechanical design of 6 different types of super conducting accelerator magnets, key components and to manage this portion of the project to its entirety. 3D solid modeling and FEM analysis.

• Expert in 3D modeling, 2D drawings, parts, assemblies, bill of materials and maintains library release status. Revises engineering change orders (ECO) to maintain current drawings revisions, always complete on time. Using UG NX-6, I-DEAS and Solidworks.

• First time successfully programming I-DEAS cad software to automate the process of 3D modeling super conducting cables and parts used in the magnets.

• Analyzed data for optimization, achieved approval to proceed –in collaboration with other labs. Support purchasing, inspection through a similar Production Part Approval Process.

• Present progress reports, using power-point, in bi-weekly video conference meetings to Brookhaven and Berkley laboratories. Maintain drawing library web site at Berkley.
