Project Description

Project Name: CRM2.0 Replatform

Description: The objective of the CRM 2.0 Replatform project is to sunset a Siebel Sales platform used by Medco and rebuild the same using Pega Rules Process Commander(PRPC) BPM suite, to leverage on the Business Process Management features offered by PRPC. The existing application acts a CRM suite which is used for Service Request Processing and Account (Client) information maintenance. The Sales application interacts with the backend systems for retrieving/updating the Benefits Plans for the Clients through Service Calls. The exercise is carried out as a combined deep dive by PRPC and Siebel architects on the Siebel Sales Application features to come up with a technical approach for redesign and data migration.

The design objective includes remolding the Service Request and Account data structures and related entities into a data model compatible with PRPC .It also includes identification of design constructs in PRPC to substitute Siebel features like Outlook Integration ,User preferences setting, Predefined Quires(PDQ) etc. The data migration analysis consists of an analysis of relevant Siebel tables and the attachment storage and attachment handling.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- As a technical consultant, provide an assessment for Siebel Replatform by capturing various Data Model choices, complexity and alternatives to Data Migration, options for go-live - big bang vs phases

Project Name: eSynchronicity

Description: The objective of this project is to establish a single process and application that supports the process for complaint capture, product analysis, and vigilance reporting, and trending at a franchise level. Project eSynchronicity is made up of a cross functional team from LifeScan, Animas, and SymCare looking to establish this objective. Animas Corporation currently has an in-house application developed and maintained for their customer support, Order handling and processing (with JDE) and marketing operations. An external vendor application (SmartSolve) is used for Product Analysis and vigilance reporting. A Siebel eMedical implementation has been proposed as a solution to meet business objectives.

Following the implementation, SmartSolve application will retire and real time integration shall be integrated between the Siebel system and in-house application.

Project Name: Siebel Implementation (SALSA 3.0)

Description: Alcon Laboratories has a CRM (eMedical) application implementation to manage their Sales and Marketing, Technical Services, Customer Services Activities in their American and European Data Centers. Siebel is integrated with external applications like JDEdwards, CTI. The purpose of this project is to migrate data from the older implementation (SALSA2.5 implemented in Siebel 6.0) to SALSA 3.0 implemented in Siebel 7.8.x, maintenance and support of existing application while implementing minor enhancements/change requests.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for SALSA data migration for 10 countries by interacting with respective country managers to gather country specific requirements, development, system testing and deployment

Sallie Mae is the leading provider of education funding and has helped millions of Americans achieve their dream of a higher education. The goal of this project is to build an Enterprise Customer Repository (ECR) of school information including corresponding lender and guarantor relationships to be used across Sallie Mae and USA Funds (the corporations).

The client intends to build an Enterprise Customer Database (ECDB) of information to provide a strategic advantage to Sallie Mae’s student/school loan servicing and other related activities. The Siebel application needs to be integrated with this enterprise wide database along with several other applications to get the business edge. The client wanted us to do the Siebel implementation and its integration with ECDB.

Siebel Forecasting:

Forecasting was done using excel sheet. The business wanted to forecast based on opportunities. The challenge was to fit in the existing business process into Siebel Forecasting Module. This involved customizations to the Opportunity, Revenue and Forecasting entities. I was also involved in building an Informatica job that creates Opportunities based on Business Rules.

Siebel Multi-Org Functionalities:

Since the Sales Application is used by organizations other than SallieMae, Visibility security based on Organizations was implemented. Apart from the OOB functionality, I was extensively involved in building Siebel Workflows to implement business requirements.

Customizations for e-marketing Application:

Organizations wanted to automate the process of Marketing for new Products, Product related information, upcoming events etc. Siebel e-marketing application was rolled out for this Purpose. Siebel Sales, Siebel Analytics and Siebel e-marketing Application have been closely integrated for this purpose. I was involved in configurations for integrating Siebel Sales Application with Siebel marketing Application. As a part of this exercise, I have a good knowledge on the e-marketing Module of Siebel. I was also involved in customizations for the marketing Application.
