10/1/2007-2/1/2008- Project Manager Orlando Fl/Richmond Va. for the Philip Morris /General Dynamics IT Managed Services Contract transition to Volt Telecom. Hired the personnel to support all locations for US wide voice and network daily service and restoral as well as multi site new build projects including copper to fiber migrations and Wireless expansion. All Avaya and Siemens CPE equipment as well as network infrastructure was transitioned as well as Change Management with new processes. On-boarding was achieved under budget and on time- flawlessly.

Project Manager for several ATT/IRS locations for Seattle, San Diego, Chicago, Phoenix and Salt Lake were Cisco VOIP with Cisco IP Contact Center installations for Volt. PM for the Fonality product rollout project for the East Coast. Master schedule development using MS Project, MS Office Suite and Visio.

9/2005-9/2007- Project Manager and Implementer Jacksonville Fl. with AT&T/SBC Global Accounts/Global PMO. Project Manager deploying Avaya IP Voice CPE with new network infrastructure builds including copper to fiber upgrades for International Accounts totaling more than 6 million dollars in revenue responsibility. Responsible for insuring that all BICSI/RCDD standards are adhered to at client sites. Responsible for updates of daily/weekly meetings and documents, WBS, scheduling, tracking, PIMS PMO, & Granite as required. Master schedule development using MS Project, MS Office Suite and Visio. Telecommunications Manager/Projects Engineering & Management using MS Office, MS Project. Responsible for planning Engineering, technical support, vendor and Project Management for backbone infrastructure and WAN with client LANs. Implemented a new hardware & circuit infrastructure of 5 POPs/NEPs with client migration to new PRI's, DS-3's and OC facilities while decommissioning 20 sites. Implemented CMM/SS7 Provisioning to Nippon TT-Japan and Denver Corporate.

Designed and implemented both an ATM Network and Frame Relay Network for the Western area to expand the Data products available. Denver Corporate followed the pilot with a US directive for all regions. COLO services were added to the sales product line following the new Data Center construction. Restructured organization that enabled enterprise-wide services to support company’s hyper-growth. Structured and managed the Customer Care Center as escalation SPOC for client support, negotiation and coordination. Developed high level plan to align goals of information systems with company strategies. Collaborated with upper management to prioritize strategies and information systems requirements. Saved $1 million annually by implementing major applications in alignment with plan. Established major data center with SUN UNIX, Novell NetWare, Linux and Microsoft NT servers. Project Manager-AMOS Deployment using MS Office, MS Project.

Project Manager to implement and coordinate the Local Competition Statewide WAN/LAN TCP/IP project called AMOS. Responsibility for planning, executing, controlling, and managing the large-scale equipment rollout/deployment project for statewide installations. Completed over 175 remote site infrastructure installations for California Central Offices and SSIR connecting to Network Entry Points via T-1 circuits. Cisco routers and switches, UB and Cabletron hubs, new PCs, printers and print servers to Hayward Tandem Operations were required as well as cabling bandwidth upgrades to Category 5 and fiber infrastructure. Duties included scheduling and leading status meetings, tracking action items, and implementing using PMI standard project management practices to support and successfully complete the new WAN/Infrastructure Deployment Project.

I accepted expanded scope to include the Wireless laptops and hand held devices for mobile documentation and completion from the field with no serious impact on schedules and budget while improving productivity. The process changes were minimal for the field personnel.

Provided trackable status reports that were the preferred documents the Vice President of Operations used to status and update the Board of Directors. Maintained these documents on a server that enabled everyone to access what they needed when they needed it and updated it with NetMeeting during conference calls with the team. Jeopardies were published, escalated and distributed according to Pacific Bell standards.

Additional statewide Projects were added simultaneously for installation at all the Public Coin Garage locations and Special Services garage locations. Disconnects of dedicated SNA system circuits and equipment were part of the cleanup after the new infrastructure rollout.

All moves and installations occurred on schedule and within budget requirements.

12/1995 - 3/1996 Roseville Hospital /Sutter Roseville California

Design Engineer & Implementor

Contracted to Roseville Hospital to map and document the networks and Client Server devices.

Designed and bid new Data Center wiring and fiber network installation to upgrade and expand bandwidth. Category 3 and 5 cabling upgraded to facilitate 100mbit-fiber backbone with DS3 campus links to Sutter Corporate AS400 with Cisco routers for EMR conversion. This was phase one of their new facility move project - 1st quarter of 1997 and merger preparation and activities to Sutter Health Corp.

Coordinated Transamerica's national EPSCS network installation. 1400 sites in the U.S. were cut to service on a weekend. All locations were up and tested by Monday except for a site in LA with no serving pairs from the street available. Managed Chevrons ETN installation- a software defined VPN. Managed the network installations for Bechtel worldwide. Transferred to Pacific Bell as an I & R Installer for POTS.
