Project Name: Integrated Solar Pump Controller

Client : Cybermotion Technologies Private Ltd.

Team Strength : 4 members.

Period : June’2011 to Till Date.

Environment and Technical skills used : Embedded C, Serial Communication Standards,

Role : Developed the Firmware for Luminary Controller (LM3S817).

Description:

This project aim is to design a embedded system application for using the solar power for home appliances and water pumping systems. This project having two modules of embedded boards , those are Boosting module and Discrete Driver(dc to ac converter).Boost module for boosting the solar input voltage to four times and in this module contains MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking)algorithm also. Driver module or inverter module for converting the boosted DC voltage into AC voltage and this AC voltage driving a pump motor(single phase or three phase).Our controller controlling the output voltage of boosting module and speed control of water pump motor in inverter module(Driver module) according to the environment changes in outside world. For driver controller board contains Sinusoidal modulation techniques for driving the pump and open loop method (volt/hertz method) using for speed control of pump with variable frequency.

Boost controller Board contains PWM module, SCI module, ADC module and User Interface module, MPPT module.

Driver controller Board contains PWM module, ADC module and User Interface module, EEPROM interface module.

Developing the testing methods for various modules.

Project Name : BLDC Motor Control System with DSP(TMS320 family) for ASTRA MISSILE POSITION CONTROLLER

Client : DRDL Hyderabad.

Role : Developed the Firmware for TMS320F2812 DSP processor.

Description:

The main objective of the projects is to design and develop the DSC based motion controller (i.e. TMS320F2812). The project involves design of Hardware as well as software to interface the external peripherals or modules (i.e. SCI, PWM, ADC, Memory) integration provides developers with easy-to-use, cost effective, single-chip designs for ASTRA missile control system. Here BLDC motor shaft position is captured from Hall sensor signals.
