Network Engineer I
Monitor the company’s network to make sure that DealerTrack MSMQ and MQ channels are connected to client channels. Speak with financial institutions if there are issues and help get them resolved, the main focus of my job is production support. One of the main focuses of this job is to make sure that the company website and network is available for internal and external use. When and if there are issues, my team works to identify the issue. I have spent much time as a tech support rep, and I trained all of my coworkers. I have established a very good working relationship with all of our clients; many clients ask to speak to me by name because they know that I always produce results.

Developed and maintained computer applications using C# and ASP.NET for external financial institutions and internal use. Built computers for employee and server use, and set up virtual machines for SQL server use. One of the main focuses of my position was to enhance the internal bug tracking software developed in-house. Developed and maintained new intranet website. Developed computer programs using C# and MS SQL Server Reporting Services to write applications and reports to increase productivity of internal clients as well as external clients, created custom reports using MS SQL Reporting Services. Major focus was on MS SQL Reporting services, which I had to learn how to use from scratch. The reports were used in many aspects of the business so they were mission critical to the company. Helped internal customers with software and hardware issues as they came up, and taught them how to use the generated reports.
Senior Project for the NHRA October 2004 – February 2005
Visual Basic.Net Programmer
Visual Basic.NET programmer who’s team took on the task of designing and implementing a new system for the NHRA to sell Video Clips of races via the World Wide Web. This system was not only used to sell video clips online for internal and external customers, but also to grant access to racing sites. Created the flowcharts used to design how the Visual Basic.NET program would work using Visio.

Performed onsite and remote backups for the company’s many offices. Swapped out tapes for the onsite backups and had the responsibility of ensuring that the office administrators from Santa Monica to New York rotated their tapes. Maintained the replacement tape inventory for all offices. Played a key role on the project team as I was tasked with testing and implementing a new backup program: the company switched from VERITAS Backup Exec to Galaxy: ComVault on the team’s recommendation. Kept superiors informed of the status of the Data Center.
