Account Executive (2006 – 2008)

Provide strategic guidance and consultation on systems direction for internal Cintas departments. Managed monthly internal client meetings. Provided counseling to 6 operational and staff departments regarding existing system status, new system needs, available new technologies and special customer requests. Defined new projects and guided through justification and approval process using Six Sigma techniques. Reported project status updates to management. Green Belt Six Sigma.

Increased sales, reduced costs and improved policy compliance as a result of leading conceptual design and approval of web based executive dashboard. Used trending data and red lighted offenders to assist 5 regional managers supporting 55 US locations. Enforced accurate service charges, identified inventory mismanagement, and enforced policies surrounding COD accounts.

Developed process supporting 40 full time business division black belts, reducing costs $20M in first year. Systems Development Director (2000 – 2006)

Directed 3 separate development teams supporting 3 different operational divisions with 35 Cintas partners. Responsible for budgeting, staffing, career development, project identification, project management, and system roll out.

Led IT conversions for 24 acquired companies within 2 years. Acquisitions were between $4M to $30M. Performed significant role in IT conversions for 3 additional acquisitions of $100M to $250M. Conversions performed within 90% of initially agreed upon schedule.

Designed, developed and rolled out hardware/software solution for First Aid Division. Solution included hand held device and truck mounted printer technology that was new to the industry. Solution enforced consistent pricing, driver activity monitoring, product line management, and inventory control in warehouse and also at truck level.

Responsible for IT portion of consolidating 3 separate acquisition First Aid product warehouses into 2 warehouses while converting remaining warehouses to Sage MAS200 application. This effort included management of multiple product lines, new policies and procedures, and integration with First Aid retail application.

Third corporate recipient of the Cintas Star Award recognizing leadership and contributions through out a period of explosive growth from $80M to$4B.

Systems Development Manager (1993 – 1999)

Managed team of 13 Cintas partners supporting primary Cintas operational division. Responsible for staffing, internal client management, existing and new system development, project management, and system implementation.

Reduced route cost by 1% for 4000 routes and need for 333 route clerical support staff by implementing hand-held device for routes. Worked with vendor designing device that met functional and cost requirements. Performed external design and led vendor supplied and internal software team developing application. Developed and executed complex and sensitive roll out strategy.

Developed and implemented valuable tool addressing customers’ number one complaint - lost garments. Paid for solution by using 2% garment cost reduction. Led team developing garment tracking system that provided detailed garment usage history, status, and location via application and bar code scanning of 45 M garments at 300 locations.

Assisted in partnership with $1.3 M DuPont account and opening door on 5 additional DuPont facilities. Developed extension of bar-code garment tracking system that allowed Cintas, DuPont, and DuPont contract employees to check garments in and out of DuPont warehouse. Provided reporting to manage inventory and recover non-returned garments. Developed deep relationship with DuPont facility management resulting in DuPont’s assistance in presentation of system to another Cintas customer (Merck).

Significant role in design, software development, and roll out of a distributed system that provided launching pad for auxiliary technologies i.e. hand held devices, bar-coding, and RF-ID, while providing billing requirements for 300 locations and $3B in sales.

Selected to manage 5 person IT team in Toronto, Canada, an acquisition. Maintained similar or better productivity than in house developers for 18 months.
