Manage the production of a 1.5 tpy - 2 million ton facility, also responsible for one Asphalt Batch Plant and 140,000 tpy Drum Plant.

Carmeuse North America is a Belgium owned Company and is the largest producer of Lime and Limestone products in North America. Manufacturing 6 million tons of lime and 6.9 million tons of limestone aggregates annually.
Production Manager (1998-2005)
Managed the production function with an annual operating budget of $25 million to meet cost, tonnage and quality demands of the Plant. Annually increased daily production 3 to 5% and reduced fuel cost by 3%. Monthly costs were reduced by reducing overtime, employment levels and utilization.
Directed 6 Shift Supervisors, 28 employees to achieve production goals, Safety and Environmental regulations.
Increased production with Process Engineering to exceed Budget Tons annually by 20,000 tons.
Initiated Daily Meetings with Maintenance Manager, Shift Supervisors, Process Engineer, Reliability Engineer and Maintenance Planner to Plan outages and day- to-day repairs.

Directed the Daily operation of the Plant and Loading to meet Quality, Production and shipments to our customers.
Improved reliability of bagging and palletizing equipment through Training of the Employees.
Negotiated with Vendors to reduce costs of Pallets utilizing NWPA association to design a skid that met our requirements and could be utilized from 3 usable trips to 10, returned pallets were handled free of charge for repairs and the remaining were resold or ground by the supplier.
