Description

eBBS – Online Core Banking software developed for Standard Chartered Bank. eBBS is a real time, user friendly, browser based core banking system supporting both wholesale banking and consumer Banking. eBBS enable the definition of new products, Interest and charges. eBBS facilitates account opening, transaction processing, subscription to loans and deposits, statement generation and Enquiries. The core banking functionality developed in eBBS is dynamic and flexible enough to suit any country’s specific requirement eBBS technical architecture is based on JAVA 2 Enterprise Edition and is multi tier comprising of Client, Application server and middleware for connecting the external systems (Interfaces) and database.

Outward Clearing – Forward Credit in the customer account will be adjusted manually when an outward clearing return transaction is posted

Account number Generation – 18-digit Unique Account Number generation for each customer, based on Branch and product.

Statement Charges – Charges get deducted from the customer based on the statement type and frequency .Generate intra Day statement based on the interval type.

Relationship Charges – Charges get deducted from the customer based on monthly average balance of all accounts under that relationship

Reward point calculations – For a particular product, depending on the customers account balance reward points get accumulated for his account on certain frequency basis. And the customer can utilize his points at any point of time

Reversal transaction – Posting a reversal transaction through teller, to revert the transactions posted previously.
