Sterling Jewelers, Kay Jewelers, Charleston,WV

* Responsible for all areas of gold and platinum jewelry repair. Ring sizings, stone setting, chain soldering, some custom fabrication. Responsible for receiving and shipping merchandise for repair, invoicing, supply orders and quality control. Responsible for servicing 4 retail stores within the company. Customer service for the store I was based in and sister store in the same mall, plus any service I could provide over the phone to the other two stores.

* Maintained at least a 52% profit margin for 11 years as manager. Won the yearly incentive trip 9 times out of 10. Shop manager of the year for the district in 2004. At least one minor award each year at annual manager meeting.

* Self-starter, motivated, need to succeed. I always felt that I was working on my own jewelry and felt it was my reputation on the line if repair was not done properly. Problem solver.

* Managed two employees for a total period of a year and a half. Averaged at least a $4,000 monthly giveback to the stores. Averaged 200 repairs a week all while doing each phase of the repair process.

Contacting stores with their monthly numbers and inquiring about problems during the month. Maintaining all reports and invoices to be easily accessed for yearly audit. Maintaining OSHA files and a 6 month safety checklist.
