Pre and post reviewing charts(making sure all the testing has been done billed and interpreted by the doctor) making sure proper documentation is being used in the charts by the technicians and the doctors writing dictation letters to referring doctors finding codes for diagnosis that are unable to locate by the billing department double check proper coding on the superbills making sure all referring appointments have been made all tests/ appointments referred out have copies in the chart prior to the next appointment at the clinic prepping patients for lasik/refractive surgery morning of the procedure responsible for all MRI/lab testing being ordered and results received for doctors to review working both Optometric clinic and Ophthalmic clinic scribing for all the doctors working patients up in a timely manner manifest refractions in both plus and minus cylinder performing all testing including fundus photography OCT visual field topography (orbscan gallilei and pentacam) ECC and AR. Assisting with minor laser procedures in the office ordering contact lenses for patients triaging calls working with the front desk on scheduling issues.
