NDT Inspector – Premier Worldwide Inc. – Houston, Texas

U/T – Thickness Gauging for Tanks, Standpipe/Manifold, Vessel deck plating. Tanks – Field drawings, thickness gauging for Plate, Stiffener Web and Flange, with reading grid setup according to ABS/DNV and customer specifications. Completed many projects for Transocean, Hercules, Rowan, Cal-Dive., Diamond Offshore.

MPI – Flaw Detection for welds on Crane Base, Crane hooks, Pad-EYE, Jack-up leg inserts, Mooring Chain Connecting Links, Cable Sockets, Swivels. Technique with Yoke, Contrast and magnetic particle.

Mooring Chain Inspection – 3 chan and 3 chain, k-4 and orq, check all studs, measure length for stretch over five link length, measure thickness of two links under stress. Disassemble and inspect and connecting link ( Pear, Kenter) via MPI.

Wire Rope – Measure Lays for stretch, check for broken strands, flattened rub areas.

Crane Load Test - Use of water bags for load test on large block and fast-line. The bags used are 35ton teer drop shape bags.. largest test completed on Rowan Bob Palmer with 164,000 lbs. With ABS/DNV on-site.

Dye-Penetrate – most commonly performed on stainless steel crane load cells, Wire rope swivels.

Shipyards - Gulf Copper, Signal – Sabine Pass, Pascagoula east/west, Rowan –Sabine pass, Port Fourchon, Delmar, Morgan City.

8/2001 – 9/2002 Carlson Companies Desktop Support Analyst - Contract position to Mustang Engineering. Ran WinNT and Win2000 with MSOffice 97 and MSOffice 2000, Outlook 98 and Outlook 2000 various proprietary software programs specific to the engineering contract.

4/2000 – 7/2001 Compaq Houston Technical Support Engineer - Phone Support on Compaq Desktop units for hardware/software running Windows 3.11, Win95, Win98, WinNT, and Win2k. Warranty support for all hardware peripherals attached to all Compaq desktop units. Trouble-shoot for all issues with hardware and software configurations.

EDI Coordinator - Contract position to Cooper Energy Services. Electronic Data Interchange project lead for purchase orders, acknowledgements, invoices, catalogs, and accounts receivables. Setup and configure client for send and receive data with remote IBM 3090 legacy system. Client is third party software by Sterling Commerce, Gentran Server for NT. Ultimately the client was outsourced once I raised the comfort level of the customer with the system.
