Currently assigned to the United States Department of Justice/ICITAP team working directly with the Commission of Integrity, Iraq’s principal law enforcement agency for combating corruption. The Commission of Integrity is a 1500 member investigative force tasked with fighting corruption through the development and promotion of a culture of integrity and transparency within Iraqi society. As a COI cultural advisor, I am tasked with enabling the COI to develop and implement a comprehensive & sustainable anti-corruption strategy. The DOJ/ICITAP work plan focuses on building both managerial and investigative capacities through active mentoring, training, and advising techniques. During this entire period was primarily responsible for linguist & written translation duties within the COI’s elite Polygraph Unit.
