1988 to 2001: Matzen Construction, Troy, N.Y. Position: Concrete Foreman,

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

1. Supervision of subcontractors and employees to bring about

timely and cost effective completion of various projects.

2. Checking all in house blueprints against anchor bolt drawings for possible

discrepancies.

3. Order all long lead-time materials (dock angle, odd size anchor bolts).

4. Order all materials necessary to complete the job as well as day-to-day

operations. (concrete)

5. Installation of building corners and offsets.

6. Supervision and installation of all imbedded items and concrete for pre-engineered metal

buildings, structural steel, and specialty jobs.

7. Responsible for layout, troubleshooting, forming, tying of rebar, installing and finishing all concrete (flatwork) from footings, walls, slabs, sidewalks and stairs as well as miscellaneous site concrete.

8. Experienced in a wide variety of forming, finishing and repair techniques.

9. Non-concrete related experience consists of equipment operation involved in excavation and backfill of foundations, slab grading, and site work.

10. Experience also includes a wide variety of interior work (metal studs, sheetrock,

dropped ceilings and site work).
