With over ** years of diversified international experience in Engineering and Management of HSEQ in multicultural/ multilingual environment within Engineering, and Oil &Gas fields (more than14 years in oil& gas), I have held senior HSEQ positions at corporate level.

Head of Corporate HSEQ, hold a B.Sc. in Engineering, Postgraduate certificate in Safety and Risk Management (University of Strathclyde, UK) and several BA certificates at Postgraduate level (Sheffield Hallam University, UK). IRCA certified lead auditor and member of IOSH.

Have successfully established and implemented HSEQ Management Systems, training programmes, and procedures in line with best practices and international standards such as OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 14001:2004, and ISO 9001:2008. I effectively review the organisation’s Business Processes and lead the continual improvement.

Set policies, objectives, KPIs, and developed a strategy at corporate level to continually improve the HSEQ culture. The organisation’s HSEQ performance have dramatically improved, that was clearly seen in the achieved outstanding results across all organisational lines, cutting Severity Rates by 88%, Lost Time Injuries by 69%, TRCF by 59% within a 3 year period.

Corporate HSEQ Manager (Head of Corporate HSEQ)

I am leading the application of HSEQ concepts and theories within the group, setting the corporate policies, objectives, KPIs, and developing a strategy to continually improve the HSEQ performance.

The HSEQ performance of individual business units have been dramatically improved through the compliance/ implementation of the HSEQ Management systems, the evidence of these improvements were very clear in the HSE Statistics, downtime and Business Performance.

I develop and manage the HSEQ at corporate level, fully support the certified business units to improve their Quality performance, and establish new Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008) for non certified companies.

HSE- QA Manager

My role at FUGRO was to develop and maintain the QA & HSE management systems. I have established the ISO 9001:2000 compliant Quality Management System in less than one year, which contributed to eliminating the existing conflict between departments and contributed to the company performance.

In line with international standards, I developed the company HSE management system (including policy and procedures), put it into practice and saw the evolution from a very primitive scheme into a successful Health and Safety Management System. Also, following the introduction of a successful employee training, communication and audit scheme the culture of the organisation improved.

I had achieved this by communicating the principles & benefits of the quality & HSE management systems to all employees.
