CGI / Stanley Associates, Afghanistan, 2010 – Present

Serving as an MRAP Ambulance Field Service Representative providing New Equipment Training

(NET) for MEDEVAC as well as CASEVAC operations. Consisting of preparing the Ambulance and the

Medical Equipment Set for fielding and providing classroom and hands-on training on the Medical

Mission Package. Responsible for curriculum development and analysis to ensure the training

program follows Army Medical Command guidelines and procedures. Supervise and assist in the

training of over 50 personnel monthly.

Key Achievements:

Assisted in the development of the new training Program of Instruction for the M-ATV

casualty conversion kit ensuring all members of the training team had been trained on

the new guidelines.

Created and implemented the current curriculum for the Cougar MRAP Ambulance,

rewriting the Program of Instruction and course materials.

East Cooper Regional Medical Center, Mount Pleasant, SC 2007 – 2010

Team member of a fast paced, 8 bed operating room working as a Surgical Technologist, specializing

in spinal, plastic and reconstructive surgery. Assistant head of service for Orthopedic Spine Surgery.

Key Achievements:

Major asset to the development of Lateral Access Spine surgery ensuring the proper training of all surgical technologists and nurses in the use of specialized equipment and procedures.

Key player in redesigning the operating rooms to be more efficient and functional.

UNITED STATES NAVY 1993 - 2007

USNS Comfort, Hospital Ship, Baltimore, MD 2005 - 2007

Served as surgical services Clinical Supervisor overseeing the daily maintenance of 12 operating

rooms, central sterilization, and anesthesia. Directly accountable for inventory and equipment valued

in excess of 8.5 million dollars. Developed and implemented training program to improve team

members knowledge for job performance and advancement opportunities.

Key Achievements:

Spearheaded the first-ever installation of an instrument and equipment tracking system on a Naval vessel significantly helping reduce monetary loss by 85%.

managing, processing and coordinating incoming supplies and equipment for the operating room.

Medical Battalion, Marine Logistics Group Okinawa, Okinawa, Japan 1997 - 2002

Led and directed the activities a 12 bed clinic, providing 24 hour emergency services and Logistical support to over 800 Marines. Provided care to patients daily in routine and emergent settings. Accountable for weekly maintenance of clinic ambulances, equipment, and medical kit bags. Instructed subordinates in the use of Acute Care Area equipment and supplies. Collaborated with and supported the logistics manager in overseeing a quarterly budget of $35,000 and all supply ordering, receipt and accountability.

Instructed DOT Emergency Medical Technician and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support classes with a 95% pass rate on the national registry.

Took on additional responsibility as Regional Acute Care coordinator, using organizational and multitasking abilities to develop and execute disaster plans.
