I am a Graduate Civil Engineer (B.E. Honours) and have more than 30 years extensive experience in tendering, execution, contract administration & co-ordination of externally funded (World Bank / Asian Development / U.A.E. funded) Road/highway/Expressway projects in India with MORTH specifications within contract framework governed by FIDIC condition & in Sultanate of Oman as per MORTCspecifications.

To manage all skilled/non-skilled/supervisory/highly technical manpower as per project requirements and to motivate them for optimum output with them looking after their necessary welfare.

As General Manager / Highway–cum–Pavement Engineer, looked after the execution of rigid/flexible pavement. Since this stretch of NH-2 passes through thickly populated Kanpur city, carriageway was raised with RCC retaining walls using flyash as fill material in between the RCC walls to allow the free passage to National Highway traffic with service roads on either side of the raised carriageway for the local traffic, thus making it 8 lanes, bituminous concrete in wearing course were being laid with crumbed rubber modified bitumen. This project also involved with construction of 17 major/ minor flyovers / bridges including a major flyover of 757.50 m length apart from 15 underpasses and 69 culverts. I was responsible for sight administration, review of available data, to get the work done as per drawings and specifications, progress monitoring vis– a-vis construction programme to check contractors development of manpower and equipments, issue of variation order, certification of bills and overall project management services, attended progress review and dispute review board (DRB) meetings.

As Dy. General Manager / Asst. Resident Engineer was responsible for construction, cost control and quality assurance of highway and road projects. As Senior Project Manager, was responsible for contract management, interpretation of contract conditions and specifications. All aspects of planning, scheduling and execution of different pavement layers, casting of kerbs, relocation of utilities, and construction of several drainage structures, interchanges, underpasses and overpasses as per contract drawings & specifications, fixing of guard rails besides close interactions with Clients, Consultants and local administration.
