GE Power Systems maintains and manages diverse and robust infrastructure to support Intranet and Extranet business web sites. GE Power Systems has several sites mostly United States based, distributed between Cincinnati (Ohio), Schenectady (New York) and Atlanta (Georgia). GE Power Systems infrastructure consists of Apache Web servers, Web logic, LDAP Servers, Load Balancers and various web tools. Vision Computers supports the E-Biz applications and the relevant Systems using an onsite/offshore support team.

Responsibilities:

• Installed, Configured and Administered of BEA WebLogic Application Server 8.1 on Red hat Linux.

• Configuration and maintenance of J2EE Services including JDBC, JMS on WebLogic server 8.1.

• Deployed various WAR, EAR, JAR applications in Domain and Clustered environments.

• Configured and installed Sun One WebServer and Apache WebServer.

• Configured and administered Weblogic JDBC connection pools and Data Sources with Oracle 9i database.

• A simple HTML based application.

• Used JavaScript to add behavior to the application.

• One can order a pizza online by choosing varieties of toppings availableat the store.

• At the end of the order the customer can able to see the receipt generated once he is finished with the order.

• Styling the frontend is done using CSS.

Image Tool Parameter Optimization

• Used by the doctors to detect the cancer cells in a human body

• Can also be used by the archeological department to extract degraded data from ancient books.

• This is done by setting a threshold level value.

• Technology used is Matlab.
