I have been working in transformer manufacturing industry from past 3.5 years. I have handled in various aspects like Electrical Design of Transformers, Marketing Executive of placing quotations to the customers.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (Jun 2007 to till date):

I have been working with Eurogulf Transformers FZC from 21st June 2007.

I have joined in this company as an Electrical Design Engineer and Marketing Executive.

Iam responsible for designing of transformers as per customer specifications.

Preparing tender support documents like raw material costing sheets, guaranteed technical particular sheets and tender drawings.

Issuing / preparing bill of material (BOM) to purchase department and manufacturing data sheets and winding cards to production department.

I also support testing department while conducting in-house testing and also during customer inspections.

As a marketing executive Iam also responsible for receiving enquiry and placing the quotations as per the utility / customer specs.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, Iam also responsible for solving the technical queries of customers.

As Electrical Design Engineer in Eurogulf Transformers, I worked on different type of windings.

a. Spiral / Layer windings. (Multi layer winding of strip type conductor, cross over coils of round wire and copper foil).

b. Multi layer Helical winding for medium voltage high current coils.

c. Continuous disc winding / partially interleaved / fully interleaved winding for high voltage coils.

I have worked on various specifications for transformers and package units of ADWEA, SEWA, DEWA, FEWA, BAHRAIN, SAUDI, QATAR, KUWAIT, OMAN, JORDAN etc.

I have also worked on design of 2000kVA, 11/0.433kV, 500kVA, 11/0.433kV, 250kVA, 11/0.433kV Distribution Transformer as per FEWA Specification. Supplied to FEWA.

I have also worked on design of 250kVA, 11-6.6kV/0.415kV, 3-Ph, 50Hz, Dyn11 connected copper wound Distribution Transformers as per IEC–60076 Standards. Supplied to SEWA.

I have also worked on design of 1500kVA, 11-6.6kV/0.415kV, 3-Ph, 50Hz, Dyn11 connected copper wound Distribution Transformers as per IEC–60076 Standards. Supplied to SEWA.

I have also worked on design of 1500kVA, 11-6.6kV/0.4kV, 3-Ph, 50Hz, YNd11 connected copper wound Generator Transformers as per IEC–60076 Standards. Supplied to Al-Faris, UAE.

I have also worked on design of 2000kVA, 6.6/0.415kV Distribution Transformer as per IEC–60076 Standards. Supplied to Sudan.

I have also worked on design of INDUCTION MELTING FURNACE GENRATOR TRANSFORMER with an appropriate electrostatic shield (Earthed Screen) between primary and secondary windings, terminal to be brought out internally. 420kVA, 0.415kV/0.460kV, 3-ph, 50Hz, Dyn11 connected as per Customer Specification. Supplied to UAE.

I have also worked on design of 5000kVA, 33/11kV, 3-ph, 50Hz, with off-load taps of 2x2.5%, Uzi=8.0%, copper wound power transformer as per IEC–60076 Standards. Supplied to Sudan.

I have also worked on design of 2500kVA, 11/0.415kV, 3-ph, 50Hz, YNd11 connected with off-load taps of 2x2.5%, Uzi=6.25%, copper wound generator transformer as per FEWA Spec / IEC–60076 Standards. Supplied to Alghail Power L.L.C.

I have also involved in design of 31.5MVA, ONAN, 33/11.5kV, 3-PH, 50Hz, Uzi=10.0%@31.5MVA, Dyn11 connected copper wound power transformer as per Iraq Specifications / IEC 60076 standards.

OLTC, MR-Germany Vacuum tap variation +7.5% to –10.5% insteps of 1.5% (13 taps) includes complete AVR panel, raise-lower, master-follower and tap position indicator.

I have also involved in design of 22.5/30 MVA, ONAN/ONAF/ONAF2, 63/20kV, 3-PH, 50Hz, Uzi=13.5%@30MVA, YNd11 connected copper wound power transformer as per IEC 60076 and PRTR Specifications.

OLTC, MR-Germany Vacuum tap variation +15% to –15% insteps of 1.67% (19 taps) includes complete AVR panel, raise-lower, master-follower and tap position indicator.

I have also involved in design of 37.5/50 MVA, ONAN/ONAF/ONAF2, 63/20kV, 3-PH, 50Hz, Uzi=13.5%@50MVA, YNd11 connected copper wound power transformer as per IEC 60076 and PRTR Specifications.

OLTC, MR-Germany Vacuum tap variation +15% to –15% insteps of 1.67% (19 taps) includes complete AVR panel, raise-lower, master-follower and tap position indicator.

I have also involved in design of 24/40 MVA, ONAN/ONAF, 132/33kV, 3-PH, 50Hz, Uzi=13.75%@40MVA, YNyn0 connected copper wound power transformer as per UPPTCL Specification and IS-2026 Standards.

OLTC, CTR (India), Oil tap variation +15% to -5% insteps of 1.25% (17 taps) includes complete, raise-lower, master-follower and tap position indicator.

Having 3.5 Years of Experience in Designing of Power & Distribution Transformers up to 37.5/50MVA, 63/20kV, 22.5/30MVA, 63/20kV, and 24/40MVA, 132kV/33kV. At Present Working With Eurogulf Transformers as an Electrical Design Engineer in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, and UAE.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. Secured First Class with 65.64% during 2003-2007.

• Intermediate (10+2) from Nalanda Junior college, Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), AP. Secured Distinction with 82.4% during 2001-2003.

• Secondary School Certificate from Nagarjuna English Medium High School, Secondary Board of Education. Secured Distinction with 74.84% during 2000-2001.
