As the Public Relations Assistant, I:

• Am responsible for timely sending of all social media posts for 3 restaurants across all social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter. This includes weekly restaurant specials, new information regarding company policies and historic facts. Serve as a program manager for company newsletters where I author feature articles communicating quarterly business performance, changes in leadership, new sales & marketing initiatives.

• Write approximately five press releases per month for the entire company. These releases are distributed to all local and statewide newspaper publications.

• Participate in weekly marketing meetings where I represent three restaurants and three clothing stores and am responsible for ensuring project prioritization across all functional areas and serve as a liaison to said restaurants and clothing stores to seek financial resources to help drive customer traffic.

• Manage a budget of $3k monthly per restaurant and all aspects related to drafting, creating, producing & distributing print collateral, monthly radio spots and some TV & radio appearances for executive team members. Average 3,000 print pieces and 30 radio segments quarterly.

• Design and distribute approximately 25 monthly advertising and event promotional materials utilizing the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)

Moroch Partners – Dallas, TX May 2011 – August 2011

As a Public Relations intern, I:

• Was responsible for creating and compiling competitor reports for four major clients.

• Pitched stories to the all local and major media for exposure.

• Attended new business meetings, clients meetings and weekly PR meetings within the company.

• Calculated and constructed quarterly PR Value Reports.

Contributed to the creation and start of new campaign including a blog, social media and a microsite.

Groups & Associations

Sigma Nu Fraternity

• I was the chapter lead chairman. I was in charge of the leadership and development of the entire fraternity. I organized all guest speakers, leadership/team-building exercises and facilitated meetings.

Freshman Follies Executive Steering Member

• Executive Steering Member in charge of overseeing an all freshman competition production. I attended meetings with the 30-member steering committee as well as the 190 freshman students.

Varsity Revue Director

• I directed and participated in an all-Greek variety show. I was in charge of a 40-member cast of men and women over the course of three months. I conducted practices, created themes and song choices

Oklahoma State University - We Are The World

• Over the course of three weeks, I co-organized the first OSU recording song recording, generating over 1,400 downloads on iTunes in only 2 months. All proceeds benefited the charity organization “To Write Love on Her Arms”.
