SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Injection Molding/Extrusion Molding
• Efficiently setup, changeover, troubleshooting and adjust injection and extrusion molding processes.
• Use of two-shoot, multi-material injection molding machinery.
• Operation of vertical and horizontal molding machinery.
• Extrusion molding producing profile, wide and narrow sheet products.
• Injection molding (insert and over molding), utilizing cold, insulated and hot runner systems.
• Perform operations in a clean room environment.
• Setup and program various robotic systems. Setup and operation of vision systems.
• Setup and direct secondary operations. Setup and Maintenance of various auxiliary equipment (conveyors, material handling systems, color feeders, dryers, sterlco, chillers, etc.)
Maintenance Technician/Mechanically Inclined
• Knowledge/Training in electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics with ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics and blueprints.
• Fabrication of various Part removal systems (chutes, landings, cooling fixtures, etc.).
• Monitoring of High-speed PET bottles production lines and High-speed packaging
• Setup and program various robotic systems. Setup and operation of vision systems. Setup and direct secondary operations.
• Setup and Maintenance of various auxiliary equipment (conveyors, material handling systems, color feeders, dryers, sterlco, chillers, etc.)
Mold Maintenance Technician
• Disassembly, inspect, cleaning, polishing, repairing and reassembling molds, which also included repairing/replacing ejector pins, Leader pins, etc.
• Setup Core Set/Pull sequences
• Properly clean and store molds
Quality Control(SPC)/Lean Mfg/Continuous Improvement
• Maintain documentation to ensure machine quality output.
• Developed visual inspection guidelines, as well as use of various special fixtures and gauges (micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, etc.)
• Familiar with SOP, SMP, MRP, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, QS9000 and other manufacturing principles.
Supervisor
• Determine that all processes meet safety requirements and are performed properly
• Co-ordination of production and workforce requirements
• Co-ordination of teams to improve productivity, efficiencies and downtime/scrap reduction programs
• Training of Operators, Process/Setup Technician, Mold Setters and Cell Leaders
• Responsibilities for employee performance evaluation/reviews, displinary issues, etc.
• Use of Microsoft Word and Excel
