While in night school earning my degree, I learned a great deal about general construction, building whole housing developments, gas stations, chemical and refinery plants, office and medical buildings and strip malls. I consider myself well versed in carpentry, electrical wiring and systems, plumbing and pumping systems, roofing, HVAC, and the use of power tools and earthmoving equipment. • Chief Enginner for the Temple of Justice Renovation Project in Liberia was done ahead of schedule and under-budget, and the clients, The President and Chief Justice of Liberia, were pleased.
• Was Quality Control Manager for a 100 million dollar project, and was credited by Design Engineer for the project’s success.
• Came in $400,000 under a three-year, $1.3-million budget for an estimated $90-million landfill expansion project by reducing the frequency of Program Manager visits from two every month to one every four months.
• Successfully completed an MGP remediation project, as Project Manager, in North Carolina for Progress Energy on time and under budget, realizing a profit of $1.1 million.
• Served as a Project Manager for a $3.1 million interim remedial action of an MGP site in North Carolina for Progress Energy, realizing a profit of almost $400,000 in ten months.
• Significantly reduced down time by making improvements to all pump and treatment systems. By redesigning processes and instituting telemetry systems for prompt notification of a problem.

• Filed appropriate reports with state authorities and other regulatory agencies.
• Developed preliminary and engineering estimates, prepared and managed project budgets, and applied for and obtained all necessary permits.
• Oversaw contractual obligations, ensuring compliance with statements of work, and performed final inspections prior to releasing final payments.
• Designed storm water management, work, quality control, erosion control, health and safety, and remedial action plans.
• Responded to gas station emergency maintenance calls from Amoco, Exxon, and Mobile Corporation; performed renovations and new construction involving roofing, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry on company gas stations.
• Performed selective demolition and demolition at industrial and commercial facilities that involved running jackhammers, cut saws, front-end loader, backhoes, and skid steers. Worked for General Contractor building strip malls, whole housing developments, and small office and medical buildings.
