I developed a special Curriculum based on the Pashto Textbook and created a very simple system for the beginners including easy tasks for the students. I prepare daily hand-outs for students, do researches, correct homework, evaluate and counsel students. I am also familiar with the different Pashto dialects of Afghanistan including Peshawari Pashto (a special dialect of Pashto language which is varies and is utilized in different parts of North West Frontier Province (NWFP) OR presently Khyber Pashtoonkhwa of Pakistan and Tribal Areas). I am also familiar with WAZIRI Pashto dialect speaking in Waziristan, Afridi-Shinwari and Kandahari Pashto dialect as well. I am familiar with the smart Board and internet, using them both in my teaching assignments. I am also an active team player particularly at DLI and everywhere generally.

-I translated and recorded useful text of English into Pashto for SIXTH Fleet Department of Navy in February 2003. For this job I received a Letter of Appreciation accompanied with coin.

- I used my knowledge of the URDU language to translate confidential documents when called upon to do so and received a coin with appreciation.

OPI Tester: Attended an OPI Workshop spanning from November 5th - 20th of 2002 and acquired enough experience in ILR for both telephonic and face-to-face interviews. As a certified Pashto tester, I Conducted 10 face-to- face OPI interviews for my own Pashto Class on June 16, 17, 18 and 19th of 2003 and 15 other candidates on the phone.

ESL COURSE: I attended ESL course offered by Faculty Development from the January 20th - April 8th of 2004 & other developmental courses including ICC.

- MTT (TDY): Fort Irwin, California, from January 14 to January 18, 2008. During briefing I explain the tribes of Afghanistan and cultural issues for about 250 military officers ready for rotation and deployment in Afghanistan. For better familiarization I played different Role Plays with them.

- FOXTROT – Instructor Support February 15, 2008. I played varieties of scenarios and a rough timeline with the students of different languages in Fort Ord., Monterey, California.

- Completed Training for “Teaching to Higher Levels” at For Ord, DOD Center” from March 10 to 14, 2008.

i) I prepared a 24-hour course syllabus for the Dari Headstart.

ii) I prepared a Forty-eight hour course syllabus for Dari Headstart.

I taught 110 students, ready for deployment to Afghanistan. I received a coin of appreciation during a graduation ceremony by Col. Cook.

5. March 20 – June 6, 2009, FT. Leavenworth, KS, Dari Headstart and Familiarization Course. Taught 20 students ready for deployment to Afghanistan and received a COIN with appreciation by Brig. General Cordon.

Checked the Urdu scope and sequence from semester one to semester three and put them in order. I checked, reviewed and corrected the Urdu Mid Terms tests as well.

7. I checked the Pashto scope and sequence from Unit one to Unit 8 as well as checked the Pashto Curriculum and Mid-term tests.

8. August 15 – 28, 2009, Quantico, VA. I taught Pashto Language to 54 students ready for deployment to Afghanistan. Prior to go to Quantico, I prepared both Pashto and Dari Familiarization curriculum; include Role plays, homework, class work and different scenarios related to the topics of the lessons.

TDY to Ft. Leavenworth, KS from 20 September to 5 December 2009. I taught total 32 students, 10 “Crash Course students” and 2 Pashto students all with Major ranks.

I received a certificate of appreciation signed by Ted A. Thomas, PhD., Director Department of Command and Leadership, Ft. Leavenworth, KS.

TDY to Ft. Bragg, Fayetteville, NC, 12 January - 6 March 2010.

I prepared two semesters Pashto pictorial supplementary materials for18 Lima Pashto course (OUS Program, ATFL-CE-FS) 28 weeks, SWCS, Ft. Bragg, NC. The lessons consisted both sound and script in two books and two CDs. I included different kinds of activities like audios, role plays, class work and etc. The materials are based on Pashto curriculum and relevant to the course. I prepared Pashto scope and sequence, weekly lesson plans, outline, quizzes, Lexical and Grammar Futures.

In addition I corrected Urdu 18 Lima Course Teaching Textbook for SWCS, Ft. Bragg, NC. In the meantime, I helped a Dari teacher assigned for Dari language there.

TDY to Ft. Leavenworth, KS from 25 March to 5 June 2010.

I taught four classes, A763 MOD 1 - A763 MOD 4, (each 48 hours), total 28 students all Major ranks. I received a certificate of appreciation signed by David G. Cotter, Col, USA, Director, and CGSS Ft. Leavenworth, KS.

4. TDY to FT. Dix, NJ from 21 June to 4 July 2010.

I taught 14 students at Air Advisor Course, Ft. Dix, NJ. During this 30 hours Dari languages course the students were able to know the Afghan culture, short Dari phrase and etc. To achieve the goal I prepared Dari materials related to their mission in Afghanistan. The materials consisted of Dari greetings.

Air Force Negotiation Center of Excellence: On December 8, 2009, I translated Afghan Negotiation Scenario from English to Pashto.

09L ADVANCE INDIVIDUAL TRANING, Mid Level, PASHTO Interpretation Scenarios Based Training, July 13, 2010.

TDY to Ft. Leavenworth, KS from 14 September to 4 December 2010. I taught Dari language and received a certificate of appreciation signed by Ted A. Thomas, Ph.D., Director Department of Command and Leadership, Ft. Leavenworth, KS.

TDY to Mac Dill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida from January 8 to February 5, 2011. I taught Dari language and culture familiarization.

In Department of Defense, Continue Education (CE), Monterey, California I correct Pashto grammar for AFPAK Afghanistan – Pakistan) Department.

I prepared Pashto and Dari curriculum, each one 30 hours total 60 hours for Quantico, VA. The curriculums consisted of syllabuses, lesson plans, schedules. In the meantime I prepared supplementary materials related to the Pashto-Dari curriculums like dialogues, role plays, scenarios, homework and etc.

TDY to Ft. Leavenworth, KS from 23rd of March to 3rd of June 2011.

I taught four classes, A763 MOD 1 - A763 MOD 4 all Colonel and Major ranks in the Dari language. I received a certificate of appreciation signed by Ted A. Thomas, Ph.D., Director Department of Command and Leadership, Ft. Leavenworth, KS.

Here in DoD Training Center, I helped with the Pilot Testing Project as a Script Reading for Interpretation – Performance Tests with SLTI on June 4, 2011. This project took place under the supervision of Ms. Kristina Swamy, Language Test Developer, Second Language Testing, Inc. Rockville, MD. The script was in Pashto language.

TDY to Wheeling, WV: I taught Pashto language and Afghanistan culture familiarization to US Army Reserve (Military Police), Wheeling, West Virginia from August 7 to 27, 2011. Prior to this mission I prepared both Pashto and Dari teaching materials and curriculum.

TDY to Ft. Riley, KS: I taught Pashto language and familiarization of Afghanistan culture, geography and history from 17 September to 24, 2011. Before this mission I Pashto syllabus, lesson plan, schedule, dialogues, role plays, scenarios, homework, class work as well as other supplementary materials related to the Pashto curriculum.

TDY to Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, AL from October 15 to December 5, 2011. I taught Dari language and culture familiarization including history and geography of Afghanistan.

TDY to Georgia National Guard Intelligence Center, Atlanta, GA from December 5 to 22, 2011. I taught Pashto language and culture familiarization including history and geography of Afghanistan. I received a certificate of appreciation signed by Miguel Rivera, 1SG, A CO and Brian Arrowood, 1LT, MI Commanding.

I taught Pashto language to Danish (Denmark) students here DLI, Monterey, California from 30 March to February 10, 2012.

From February 10 to date I am teaching Pashto language at DLI Basic Course. This course is 63 weeks.
