• Designing and drafting the Heating, Venting and Air Conditioning ducts and systems, fire protection sheets.

• Designing and drafting the process piping and plumbing.

• Giving project schedule reports and design development reports to owners.

Research Assistant, Telerobotics Lab, University of Utah, Oct 2008 – May 2010.

Advisor: Dr. Jake Abbott

Project Title : A Novel Permanent Magnetic Manipulator System

• The objective of the thesis was to control the movement of helical magnetic microrobots using non uniform fields for medical applications like cochlear implants and in vitro surgeries. Software development of controllers involved position/velocity and sinusoidal control with help of C programming. The prototype is being developed into a medical device now.

• The conceptual designing and prototype designing was a important part.

• The major emphasis was the designing, building and control of the rotational manipulator system and using Thorlabs equipment to map non-uniform magnetic fields. Designing done by SolidWorks.

• It gave me an exposure and knowledge with medical robotics, devices and FDA regulations.

Result: The prototype was built efficiently to control the microrobot. Strength of magnetic fields and field gradients increase rapidly with distance from the source.

Skills used: SolidWorks, Machine Shop, C++, Java, OpenGL, Robust Control, Microsoft Office like Word Excel, LaTex.

Teaching Assistant, course Fluid Mechanics, University of Utah.

Supervised: Dr. Meredith Metzger.

Spine Technologies, Web Designing, Summer 2004.

Cyltech Engineers, Marketing Engineer, Feb. 2006 – May 2006.

• Marketing medical cylinders, CNG cylinders and regulators to the Indian customers.

PROJECTS Title : Design, Fabrication and Control of Robotic Arm

• The objective of the project was to imitate movement of the human arm by robotic arm. Designed the arm using AutoCAD.

• The major emphasis was the circuitry board for the slave arm.

Skills used: AutoCAD, Circuit Maker, electronics design, C++.

Title : Designing the parking for an DARPA Urban Challenge unmanned vehicle

• The objective of the project was to devise a way to park a car.

• The major emphasis was programming the parking for the vehicle.

Skills used: Eclipse, Java, C++, Ubuntu.
