Responsible for hard turning, hard drill/tap of ring gears and O.D. grinding of pinion gears for automotive axles.

This includes plant layout, tooling, fixturing, gaging, process sheets, operator training, equipment runoff,

capability analysis, FMEA, control plans and capitol equipment purchases.

Major accomplishment; increased tool life of hard drill 280% resulting in an annual savings of $187,000.

Project leader responsible for in-sourcing existing product and new product launches.
