While working for Smith Welding I was in charge of a crew of two to four employees. I was responsible for daily work assignments as well as ensuring timely job completion. I was also the lead mechanic for the company, performing maintenance on trucks, forklifts, gas and diesel welding machines, and trailers. We also performed industrial maintenance and repair for Integrico Composites, we worked on extruding machines, automated conveyor belts, auger systems, forklifts, and over head hoist. We were also selected to align and track a large drier (12 Ft. in diameter and 40 Ft. long) that we installed. I was also in charge of fabrications and repairs on injection molds for the R&D company (Integrico Composites). While working at there facility I was also involved in building precision prototypes for injection molds that I had helped design. I operated, maintained, and repaired various pieces of equipment including arc and mig (dual shield flux core) welding machines, forklifts, bridge cranes, hydraulic boom cranes, hydraulic rams and presses.
I performed a number of rigging and lifting operations, to include setting 40-ton rock driers, erecting 90 foot diameter water tanks, and various pieces of abnormal shaped iron used in condominium structures.

While working for Larry McKinley Inc. some of my duties included mechanical repairs on diesel and gasoline equipment ( tearing motors down and diagnosing the problem, rebuild the motor and reinstall on equipment. As well as just swap motors out. Me and my boss fixed hydraulic leaks and injection pump problems on the equipment as it was needed. I learned how to do commercial pre-slab plumbing. Upon completion of pre-slab plumbing I was in charge of hooking up the sewer utility ( find sewer line with a backhoe, dig the proper graded ditch to the utility, call in proper pipe and fittings needed to connect the two. Connect the two utilities and backfill). I then learned how to do top out plumbing, shortly there after I was put in charge of two coworkers and it was my responsibility to make sure the proper tools got to the job and the daily work was completed.
