Promoted to work on a Major US$1 billion Project - Gas Sweating Facilities in Messaied and Dukahan (SRU Upgrade and AGRU), on behalf of Qatar Petroleum (QP).

Charged with managing the detailed procurement of Bulk items, including Line Pipes, Induction bends, Pipes, Valves and Flanges and Fittings, including preparing and issuing RFQ’s for Sour and Sweet Gas Line Pipes (30 Inch, 28 Kilometer)

Also responsible for project estimation, contract acquisition, preparation of proposals, contract negotiation and ensuring those equipment vendors provide timely and quality input into the design package.

Procurement Engineer August 2008 -April 2009

Selected to work on the US$300 million Kauther Depletion Compression on behalf of Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), and charged with managing the detailed procurement of Bulk items including Pipes, Valves, Flanges, Fittings and Gaskets.

Managed all aspects of the proposal and procurement process including the selection of bids that met stringent company and client requirements.

Electrical Design Engineer July 2004 – July 2008

Independently managed proposal and procurement for a new $80 million gas processing plant for Crescent Petroleum Company located in the Sajaa Area in Sharjah, UAE, consisting of Amine Sweetening, Sulphur Recovery and Associated Utilities, used to process 600 MMSCFD dehydrated sour gas.

Managed major packages including Gas Turbine Generators, Diesel Generators, transformers, MV/LV Switch Gears, Power Distribution Control System, Remote Terminal Units, System Studies and Relay Coordination.

Other major projects included the US$1.4 billion Pearl GTL development located at Ras Lafan Industrial City (RLC) in the state of Qatar, producing 140,000 bbl/sd GTL products and 90,000 bbl/sd NGL (Deep LPG recovery mode).

Also worked on major proposals including the Khalda Concession Development Lease area, a new gas processing train in the Egyptian Western Desert, and the Zarzaitine Gas Lift Compression in Algeria, on behalf of Sontrac-Sinopec.

Baghdad East Power Station, Baghdad, Iraq April 2002 - March 2004

Hired as Construction and Commissioning Engineer for a US$250 million, 500 MW Gas Turbines Power station plant consisting of four units (MS9001E, each 125 MW), Transformers, Switchgears, Cables, Diesels, Oil Treatment, Water Treatment, and Two Boilers. The plant connected to national grid with 1.5 line grid type.

Taji Power Station, Baghdad, Iraq October 2001 - March 2002

Electrical Engineer

Served as Operation Engineer in a135 MW Gas Turbine Power Station consisting of six Mitsubishi Frame 5 units.

Also managed the Purchasing Department and maintained spare parts and replacement of damaged parts.
