Responsibilities: The first 8 months with the company as surveyor for the design group. Procure as-built drawings or generate sketches of existing conditions and report back to company once a week. Remainder of employment as Project Manager in Puerto Rico. Everything’s A Dollar, Puerto Rico $6.4M – retail expansion (8 stores) in new market; responsible and accountable for assisting design team in viable use of existing lease spaces, creating and enforcement of fast-track schedules for each project to insure no more than 12 month duration for total expansion, develop scopes of work and responsibilities for subcontractors, negotiating contract proposals with local contractors and supervising day to day activities, assuring compliance with Client’s and construction and design standards, coordination and compliance with leasing authority regulations and standards, scheduling and acceptance of Owner supplied materials and inventory stock shipped from the U.S. to San Juan port, arranging for delivery to job site, reporting daily progress to Client and office team, approval of all subcontractor and vendor invoices, obtaining final inspections, acceptance and closeouts for each project.
