Member of an eight person semiconductor group finance re-engineering team, chartered to find innovative ways to radically change the role of finance in support of the worldwide $6 billion semiconductor business and to leverage the upcoming SAP implementation. Developed and implemented the Cost Accounting infrastructure to support the expected growth for this start-up Division. Held responsibility for monthly financial close/reporting of worldwide P&L, inventory valuation, pricing, audit schedules, cost/ contribution margin analysis, financial statement review, and procedure development. Chaired the pilot project to implement activity based accounting, and the corrective action team on salability reserves. Member of the worldwide consolidated inventory team. Chaired the cost accountants’ effectiveness team.

Financial Planning Manager, 1975 - 1986. Handled broad financial planning responsibilities: based in Nice, France; Fresing, Germany; Rieti, Italy; Singapore, Singapore; and Lubbock, Texas. These included the newly created Asia Pacific Division, repair operations of consumer electronics group, the Italian semiconductor operations and the headquarters of European semiconductor group.
