Senior Systems Administrator – Jarden Home Brands, Inc – (10/01-4/04)

As the Senior Systems Administrator of JHB, I managed 2 other Sys Admins and 3 Help Desk personnel. Together, we maintained 100+ Servers (both physical and virtual) running Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, and Fedora Linux in a Primary Data Center and 6 remote. The software I supported included SAP, a Citrix XP E farm with an NFuse web interface, ADP and HRP, TrackIT!, VMware ESX, VirtualCenter, VMotion, EMC Control Center, Navisphere, Microsoft Exchange, Stromberg, Veritas Backup Exec, and Symantec Anti-Virus. A few of the admin tools we utilized to manage and monitor the environment were DameWare, What’s Up Gold, Kix, and HP Insight Manager. The hardware I supported at JHB included: HP/Compaq servers, Dell workstations, EMC Clariion SAN, Brocade, Mcdata, Cisco, a Bluecat Networks Meridius spam appliance, and an Overland NEO 4000 robotic SDLT Tape Library.

Field Engineer – DELTEC Information Solutions – (09/00-10/01)

As an Engineer at DELTEC, I planned, designed, deployed, and supported computer networks for numerous client sites. I created and worked with multiple budgets and performed advanced project management, and technical planning. I performed numerous Exchange, and Active Directory migrations for our clients. I was in charge of all the aspects of the technical development of Keystone Mortgage. While attending college, I worked full-time as an Account Representative for Monumental in charge of most of Henry County, IN.
