PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Client: Macy’s Systems and Technology (MST) – Duluth, Georgia (April 2008-Present)

Position: Senior/Lead QA Analyst

The project in Macys’ Systems and Technology (MST) involved testing a retail application that was web-based and another windows based application. The project entailed testing Dashboard and Reports created in a SQL Server environment using Microsoft SharePoint Services and also testing reports in a Retek Application (PACE)

Responsibilities:

• Created test plans and reviewed and updated all test cases in Excel and SharePoint, and managed the Requirements Traceability Metrics (RTM)

• Maintained and updated the RTM to provide input to project managers and others on the testing process and progress

• Conducted peer review of test cases and provided feedback on areas of improvement

• Wrote and executed test scenarios, and coordinated and communicated the status of the testing effort to ensure that the QA Best Practices (PPQA) were followed

• Used SQL queries to retrieve data from Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)/Teradata and validate them, tested on the Mainframe for data validation and also tested using Pivot Tables for ETL processes

The project involved working in a very fast-paced environment, highly communication-oriented Agile Environment.

Responsibilities:

• Created test plans, developed test cases and executed them

• Participated in design review/walkthrough sessions with team members and provided feedback on UI issues

• Developed test cases for Functionality and Performance Testing for a web-based application
