Manager Software Development II

• Led development teams from 3 to 12 members on C#.Net, ASP.Net, AJAX, JavaScript, Force.com, Apple iOS, SharePoint, SSIS, SSRS and Business Objects applications using agile and SDLC methodologies. Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase were used as databases with many stored procedures.

• Spearheaded adoption of agile methodology, testing automation and version control tools within the Dallas department.

• Led presentations of clinical websites to hundreds of doctors and CEO at our annual conference.

• Project Highlights:

• Leader, scrum master and architect for Force.com implementation. Converted in-house recruiting application to custom Force.com application using in house resources and contractors. Led overall architecture and data model. Although not initially scheduled to be a developer, jumped in to develop objects, workflows, reports, triggers and apex code in order to meet our tight deadline.

• Led development of our first mobile application, Hospital Surveys for IPad.

• Took over scrum master responsibilities for failing pilot of Microsoft Silverlight for clinician credentialing. Got project back on track, then demonstrated to CEO that we weren’t getting desired productivity and should look into cloud development.

• Ran pilots of Microsoft Dynamics XRM, Heracu and Force.com. Facilitated decision making process which choose Force.com. Participated in proposal justification for budgets and ROI.

• Led architecture and development of multiple .Net web applications: Emergency Vehicle Deployment for FEMA, Automated IT Customer Service Requests, New Contract Database with multiple levels of automated approval. Stored procedures, Microsoft SSRS and SSIS were extensively used as well.

• Negotiated with 3rd party integrator, chose tool and directed development for public websites for multiple EMSC subsidiaries using Kentico and .Net.

Manager Software Development (EmCare subsidiary)

• Led development of SharePoint portals with customizations for company internal portal and extra-net clinician portal. Implemented custom applications including displaying paychecks (eliminating printed paychecks), automating time-off requests with approvals, displaying users training history, custom login security for clinicians, as well as several departmental databases. Have developed in SharePoint when needed to meet deadlines. Led selection and negotiation of 3rd party tools such as Nintex and Avepoint.

• Piloted, selected and led architecture and development of Business Intelligence projects using Business Objects for business and clinical reporting. Team developed hundreds of interactive reports and created an automated .NET scheduler for customizable packets of up to 40 reports for each of over 300 customers.

• Led development of EmTrac Operations program in VB and Sybase – performed all functions for recruiting, credentialing and scheduling of physicians.

Senior Software Developer (EmCare subsidiary)

• Lead developer for PeopleSoft HR/Payroll development. Customized payroll processing and paychecks to allow for physicians working at multiple locations during a payroll period.

• Developed PowerBuilder application for incentive pay for physicians. (Compensation is based on number of patients, services rendered and bonus pools).

• Developed PowerBuilder application to search for doctors using over 50 demographic categories in all combinations.

• Led and developed custom banking CRM in PowerBuilder for Amex Bank. Headed implementation in France, Switzerland, and England.
