Business Operations: Developed pursuit plan, and internal resource loading, timelines and budgets for this 501(3)(c) start-up government market venture. Identified organizational weaknesses and depicted systems to create standardized, repeatable processes and data capture/mining for bid pursuits. Business Operations: P&L of $14.5M and 110 employees. Principal-in-charge accountability for Dept. of Defense hospital design and construction projects, to include client relationships, sub-contractors, profitability, billability, and contract compliance. Managed overall fiscal health of multi-year projects and work breakdown structures (WBS), deliverables, scope creep and budgets consistent with project objectives. Improved overall division GPM by 8% via labor category negotiation, ODC’s and contingency allocation.

Business Development: Identified and negotiated strategic teaming alliances with CH2MHill, TetraTech, Parsons Brinckerhoff, and Heery for projects ranging from $30M-$150M. Won $40M GSA project. Led team to $30M EPA Region 4 orals. Short-listed on GSA Southeast Federal Center.

Business Development: Identified new business opportunities, strategic teaming partners and ensuing projects in Government, Educational and Commercial markets for M/E/P, blast engineering, architecture and interior design.

Won $150M/5yr FEMA Deactivation contract. Won multi-million dollar Allstate Insurance facility inspection contract for commercial building evaluations. Short listed on $300M Wachovia Bank and $125M Aramco commercial datacenter for Citibank.

Marketing: Initiated RFP Quals book, market niche brochures, tradeshow specific collateral and giveaways.

Training: Completed PMP training of 18 modules/45 hours.

Design: Designed interiors of clinics, offices, cafeterias, and classrooms for classified Government projects.

Researched national/local market forecasts and monitored décor trends/product offerings that fit the scope of the mid to high priced European themed shop while accounting for consumer demographics, seasonality and buying patterns.

Business Development: Performed geographic analysis of vendors and products to ensure exclusive product selling radius. Negotiated terms/conditions for products acquired via to-the-trade only furniture and accessory markets.
