* US-90 Widening & Intersection Improvements, Mississippi Department of Transportation – Project Engineer for the design of this $10 million federally funded stimulus project consisting of 6 miles of roadway widening, from 5 lanes to 6 lanes, along with 7 intersection and signal improvements. Managed a group of 7 engineers and completed the preliminary and final design in a record time of 9 weeks, which normally takes 16 months.

* Brampton Connector, Georgia Ports Authority – Project Manager for the preliminary and final design of this $25 million 4-lane divided roadway consisting of 1.5 miles of roadway, 4 bridges, and a mile of railroad relocation design. Developed the $1.8 million design and preparation of plans, specifications, horizontal/vertical alignments, drainage, earthwork, quantity development, signing and marking, right-of-way design, and erosion control plans, according to PDP, PPG, and EDG.

* US-41/SR 3 Widening, GDOT – Project Manager for the design of a $20-million, 2.3-mile-long, 4-lane curb/gutter widening project through an urban area. Developed the design and preparation of plans, specifications, horizontal/vertical alignments, drainage, earthwork, quantity development, signing, and marking, along with $40 million right-of-way design, acquisition, and erosion control plans according to the Georgia PDP, PPG, and EDG.

* Armuchee Connector, Floyd County – Project Manager for the roadway design of this $8-million, 2.3-mile-long, 2-lane connector road with 2 bridges in a new location. Developed the design and preparation of plans, specifications, horizontal/vertical alignments, drainage, earthwork, quantity development, signing and marking, right-of-way design, and erosion control plans.

* Casteel Road Culvert Replacement, Cobb County – Project Manager for the roadway design of this $500,000 300-foot-long roadway/culvert replacement project. Developed plans compliant with Cobb County DOT standards and specifications, managed subs, and developed cost estimates.

* Booth Road Bridge Replacement, Cobb County – Senior Engineer for the roadway design of this $700,000 400-foot-long bridge replacement project. Developed plans compliant with Cobb County DOT standards and specifications.

* Olive Springs Road Bridge Replacement, Cobb County – Senior Engineer for the roadway design of this $900,000 500-foot-long bridge replacement project. Developed plans compliant with Cobb County DOT standards and specifications.

* I-75 Widening Design Build, Douglas Asphalt Company/GDOT – Project Engineer/Project Manager for the design of this $70 million widening from 4 lanes to 6 lanes on a 13.5-mile-long section of I-75 in Lowndes County. Supervised designers and met with the contractor to resolve design and construction issues.

* Airport Road, Glynn County – Project Engineer/Project Manager for the design of this $3 million mile-long curb and gutter 2-lane road with center 2-way left-turn lane.
