Web Collaboration Sales Operations Manager, National Accounts 7/2010 – Current

InterCall – Seattle, WA Robb Cason, VP of Collaboration

I manage the day to day sales operations of the web collaboration team responsible for helping to drive InterCall to the position of largest Conferencing Service Provider in the world, including over $120M in web collaboration sales annually. This team is responsible for the sales of web collaboration technology to Fortune 1000 clients and has solidified our position as the largest reseller of both Microsoft® Office Live Meeting and Cisco WebEx. I lead key strategy sessions with sales and account managers to identify customer needs and how to position InterCall as the critical solution provider. I also work with web collaboration partners at Microsoft, Cisco and Adobe to develop sales incentive campaigns to help drive channel revenue. I streamlined the web collaboration sales funnel to increase internal synchronization on opportunities providing management with accurate data for improved revenue forecasting.

I led the web collaboration sales efforts for the Fortune 1000 accounts in the East Region. I worked directly with Global Account Managers to identify opportunities, schedule product demonstrations, secure pricing, draft proposals, prepare contracts and develop web conferencing implementation plans. Upon acquisition by InterCall, I transitioned to support web registration and web event management opportunities within the InterCall sales organization. As a subject matter expert for InterCall’s web event services, I led opportunities for the development of custom registration sites, web event management engagements and large webcast/streaming events. From the original assessment and needs analysis, I developed a custom solution for presentation to C-level executives. In the presentation, I provided detailed cost analysis, targeted customer benefits, and reasonable assessments of customer ROI to achieve key stakeholder approval.

Partner Engagement Manager 12/2007 – 6/2009

Growth into new partner channels became a key focus for the company to achieve our revenue goals outlined by the original investors. The management team selected me from a large pool of external and internal candidates to lead new channel revenue relationships. In just over 18 months, I successfully on-boarded three new partner organizations to resell Corvent services. I led all process and operation implementations for us to serve these new partners in addition to the training of our partners’ sales teams. These new channels saw steady month over month high margin revenue growth and more than tripled year over year. In addition to sales growth, I continued to manage custom projects for clients and developed new service offerings including virtual live hybrid event management program to assist clients in improving their ROI in hosting large annual conferences.

At the request of the management team, I quickly and independently learned all of the accounting, vendor management, HR, payroll, and facilities management responsibilities due to the sudden departure of the manager previously in this role. I assisted the management team in meeting critical project milestones for our large contracts. I provided detailed financial analysis and assisted the CEO in executing strategic objectives for company growth. Once stabilized, I managed the hiring and training of the next Operations Manager and returned full time to my role as Partner Engagement Manager.

As the Client Services division experienced considerable growth, there was immediate need for someone familiar with the web conferencing technology and engage customers in the management of their web events. I arranged and booked airline reservations, hotel rooms, ground transportation, tournament registration, and secured dining facilities as necessary for the team. In the absence of the head coach, I assumed complete responsibility for the team.
