Review disposal turn-in document (DTID) material and compares data against property to ensure correct information including proper documentation. Visually inspects usable property for obvious signs of condition and sign for receipt of property. Determine condition and reportability, special handling requirements, and assigns appropriate classification instructions for warehousing. Verify accuracy of demilitarization codes and take appropriate action to challenge questionable items/codes, and maintain segregated storage of property requiring DEMIL. Ensure property which is dangerous too employees or public health and safety is properly identified, certified and tagged by generating activity prior to acceptance. Identify and segregate by Scrap Classification Listing (SCL), then process in accordance to establish guidelines. Sign documentation for receipt of material and codes DAISY input. Review incoming material for presence of environmental hazardous materials in accordance to established guidelines. Reject items not positively identified or items without generic identity of contaminates, identification is required to determine proper method stowage and disposal. Performs special and periodic inventory of property; Re-palletize/relocate property as necessary. Operate forklift trucks varying in capacity from 2,00-15,000 pounds up to 168 inches to move, load and unload, stack or un-stack palletized materials, supplies, and equipment from point of pick up to designated location to ensure proper handling eliminating damage to cargo.

Perform moderate to heavy lifting when moving material by hand or hand-truck to include items weighing up to 50 lbs. Perform work on hard surfaces, over rough terrain and forklifts. Works with various Military Liaisons in order to assist in the reut&mktng portion of operations during turn-in and reclaim. This is done thorough initial contact and Correspondence. I often work with the Contract Office Rep to assist in the turn in and disposition of property in a timely and efficient manner to the warehouse and GV site. In the role of fact finding I understand the Trade Section Control in the insuring guidelines in all shipping and receiving matters involved, the research of supply documentation for the correct condition code, stock number, Demil Codes and price (DOD form 1348-1a). This is to insure all property accountable in location and on record. Good property management is the key to an efficient warehouse operation. This provides and RTD general supply inventory for DOD customers. Technical Support is done to insure all members of my team and contractors working under me follow strict Property Disposal Regulations. Inspection of material upon receipt to insure quantity, count, condition, and quality is in order to customer specifications. Follows Regulations to ensure documentation is provided with correct statements when processing for Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE), Industrial Items possibly containing PCB, Electrical and Electronics, and Refrigeration and Hazardous Material, Hazardous Waste containing (Freon containing) equipment. Ensure the flow of materiel (Packing, Receiving, Shipping) throughout the warehouse in maintained in date received and cyclic order. Use MHE such as Forklift. Work Independent. Reconcile discrepancies when processing paperwork accompanying the material turned in by military activity through inspection of the material. Ability to recognize material, contents of items to be scrapped, Demilitarization including types of ammunition. Reviews transaction histories in inventory database when performing research on problem items. Determines reasons for discrepancies and recommends action required to correct same for Property Disposal. Document Prep involved the writing of narrative noting if materiel was miss-located, wrong label, incorrectly entered to inventory or operator error while performing inventory or Inventory stock. Prepares logistics reports regarding items processed including backlog, overage and items to be returned to generator. Logs and maintains registers for causative research. Completes daily documentation and turns into appropriate personnel, clearly marked by date processed. Monitors suspense dates. Inventory management on a monthly and bi-monthly basis to account for the rapid turnover of receipts to GL. Foster’s teamwork among contractors and federal employee's to insure timely, efficient, and quality work in all aspects of the job. Focuses on safety and health of employee's to insure no lost time. Greets and assists all customers and agencies during pick up of requisitioned items and insures satisfaction and detail in these requisitions. New hire orientation.
