I did learn their cad software, which was Ideas. I was brought in to do NX work, but the start date for the company to get NX was delayed by several months. I was laid off due to no new work coming in.

I work at Donaldson Co. in Lexington, Ky. I worked in the industrial side of their filtration business. I support the design group on various products they supply to their customers. The majority of the parts are sheetmetal and use NX-6 Sheetmetal. All work being performed on NX-6 and using Teamcenter.

I worked contract at Bosch/Siemans Appliance Group. I worked in the cooking division. I helped support the engineering design group on a multitude of different projects. Most of my work was with sheet metal and extrusions. The work I done was concept design for new product development. All sheet metal parts designed using Sketcher and NX Sheetmetal. I also worked with Engineering determining proper GD&T. All work being performed on Unigraphics NX-6 using Teamcenter.

I worked contract at GE Aviation Systems in Vandalia, Ohio. It was formerly known as Smiths Aerospace. I done design for aircraft Generators and Generator Control Units. I worked closely with Project Engineers and Mechanical Engineers in developing Generators and Generator Control Unit designs for different programs and developing proper GD&T. I also detailed my own designs. I also supported the Configurations Group doing Engineering changes. All models created using Unigraphics NX-6 on Windows XP.

I designed aircraft seating for BE Aerospace. I have done design on Laptop Stowage Compartments using sheetmetal and vacuum formed parts. I have redesigned Lower Storage Compartments adding in revised hinge design. I also done a variety of detailing. All models created using Unigraphics NX-5 on Windows XP and Teamcenter.

Contract assignment at Findlay Ind. in Springfield, Ohio.
Our customer was Navistar and I worked on interior trim panels, stowage cabinets and connecting hardware. I dealt mostly with the sleeper section of the cab. The outer panels was made of a cloth fabric. The upper stowage cabinets was made of plastic. All models created using Unigraphics NX-2.

I used Unigraphics Versions 8.0 thru 11.0 for seven years. I designed a variety of automotive products. These would include Windshield Wiper Arm assemblies, HVAC thermal systems, cast motor housings, interior control features and engine motor mount design. All of these products being plastic or cast. I also have experience in detailing of S.I.R. Steering wheels and P.S.I.R. Inflator restraints using Computervision CADDS 4X for one year.
From 1984 to 1990, I worked various contract assignments in the area of Tool Design. Those being special machines, fixtures and gages.
