Project Basis: Image Processing using Matlab for a medical application.

Developed an application to calculate deformation mapping and kinematics experienced by features in an image using the concept of Digital Image Correlation.

• Developed a sequence of Matlab codes to match a specific set of requirements and performed mathematical and statistical analysis on the results.

• Generated a documentation and developed a thesis of the entire research with detailed specifications.

• Presented the research at various seminars to audience from various backgrounds and varying levels of technical knowledge.

• Presented the research at ASBMR international conference and was nominated for President’s Award.

• Worked alone on the project, without any prior knowledge in this field, with minimal supervision.

• A paper discussing this research is in the process of being developed for publishing.
