RESPONSIBILITIES

Following are the main areas that I am looking after;

Laboratory - Responsible for Laboratory Department set up in Longitudinal Pipe Division

- Chemical Analysis for different grades (Model: SPECTROMAXx)

- Tensile Test (Model: Instron 5595 with Software), Guided Bend & Side Bend Test

- Hardness Test (Vickers & Portable Hardness Test )

- Charpy Impact Test (Model: Zwick & Roell)

- Drop Weight Tear Test (Model: Instron Dynatup 8150 with Software)

- Nick-Break Test, Residual Stress Test, Micro/Macro Structure Examination

- Crack Tip Opening Displacement (CTOD) Test

- Corrosion test as Hydrogen Induced Cracking (HIC), Sulfide Stress Corrosion Cracking (SSCC) & Corrosion And Protection Centre Industrial Services (CAPCIS)

- Failure analysis of rejected components & in house rejection

- Managing & trouble shooting of mechanical and metallurgical equipments

- Handling man power

- Demonstrating Laboratory Equipment to client

- Inventory of Laboratory spare & consumables

- Erection and commissioning of some of the Laboratory Equipment and Installation of all Testing software.

- Preparing Laboratory testing procedure to comply all customer requirements

QA - Preparing and documentation of QAP, MPS, Testing Reports, MTC and Work
