I am a Safety Practitioner with over SIX (6) years experience in HSE administration, supervision and contracting for clients in the Oil and Gas (upstream and downstream), Production, Power and Utility industries. During this period, I have worked on projects commissioned by SPDC (Shell), TEPNG/TUPNI (Total), SCNL (Saipem) and CGSN (ContourGlobal) among others, as a HSE Officer cum Supervisor, Coordinator and Advisor/ Auditor.

As part of my commitment to the HSE profession and continuous professional development, I have completed a Diploma course in Industrial Safety from National Institute for Labour Education & Management (NILEM), Chennai and another Diploma in Quality Control & ISO 9000 from the same institute, as well as other relevant trainings and international certifications like OSHA, NEBOSH IGC and IOSH Managing Safely.

FEB 2011 – DATE: HSE ADVISOR/ AUDITOR (Consultant) TO CONTOURGLOBAL SOLUTIONS NIGERIA (NBC/CG CHP&CO2 PLANT CONSTRUCTION PHASE, Benin, Nigeria)

Responsibilities:

• Conducting periodic walk-about assessment and site inspection of the CHP/ CO2 Plant

• Auditing the contractor’s compliance with the H&S Plan, Safe system of work and Best Practice

• Liaising with the contractor’s H&S department and Site management to ensure adequate compliance with the H&S Plan and Best practice

• Reviewing all sub-contractors Risk Assessments/ Method Statements and Lifting Plans

• Routine site inspection to ensure good housekeeping and conformance to Safe system of work.
