Description

TaskForce is field process automation, scheduling solution primarily intended for managing large mobile workforces. It schedules and allocates the work to various resources (field technicians) based on various parameters like Location, skills required, appointment date-time etc and runs at a pre-configured frequency. It also records the progress of tasks. The creation of the new item of work consists of the creation of a new schedulable Task and the storage of any additional information, in the TaskForce. This additional information is intended to support the engineer in performing the task. It might include sets of instructions and documentation and is known as Field Support Information. When the task gets dispatched, TaskForce compiles this information along with the task and sends it to the engineer. Tasks once cancelled from TaskForce are not considered for scheduling and allocation.

There are 14 instances of TaskForce, with each instance catering to tasks in a particular geography within UK.
